All FAQ, comparison table and metaobject sections were built and deployed live across product, collection and super collection pages within the agreed 4-5 day timeline, fully editable by the client's own team through Shopify metafields with no developer involvement needed going forward.
SEO-focused heading structure was implemented to support crawler/GEO visibility, and comparison table markup was validated as well-formed for both search engines and AI agents, with agentic browsing scores reaching 4/4 on tested pages. Follow-up issues raised during review (superscript rendering, table contrast, mobile display, spacing) were each resolved in subsequent rounds.

The project focused on connecting our Shopify store with WhatsApp so customers could automatically receive order confirmations along with a PDF invoice. The main work included setting up and configuring the WhatsApp and invoicing apps, creating the invoice template, and handling the Meta approval process.
IT-Geeks also built the logic to identify where each order came from, so confirmations would be sent for website and our own POS orders while excluding partner-store orders. They also set up automatic order-source tagging, kept our existing WhatsApp Business setup and linked devices working, and provided documentation and training so our team could use the new process confidently.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project gave us a much more streamlined order-confirmation process. Customers can receive their order confirmation and PDF receipt through WhatsApp, while orders from partner stores are automatically excluded. It also removed the need for the previous manual order-source identification process and made the workflow easier for our team to manage.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Tom managed both of our projects and was our main point of contact throughout. He kept us updated at every stage, shared preview links so we could review changes before anything went live, and always worked on a backup theme so our live store was never affected. What stood out most was how well they responded to our needs.
When our requirements changed, for example when I realised adding tags to every exhibition order would slow my team down, they adapted the setup around how we actually work rather than sticking to the original plan. They also added a one-tap tag button in our POS so my employees could select the right option quickly.
They were flexible with scheduling calls around our time difference and took the time to walk us through everything, which made complex parts like the WhatsApp setup much easier to understand. Whenever something didn't work as expected, such as the Ready to Wear page filters, they investigated properly and kept refining it until it worked exactly the way I wanted.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What impressed me most was their work ethic. The team was committed to getting things right, and they genuinely cared about delivering a result that worked for my business rather than just completing a task. They also came up with the best solutions.
Whenever I had a requirement that Shopify couldn't handle on its own, like showing only ready-to-wear abayas in available sizes, or sending WhatsApp invoices only to certain types of orders, they found a smart way to make it work. They always thought about how my team actually works day to day, especially during exhibitions. And they delivered on time, which mattered a lot to me with launches and exhibitions coming up.

Are there any areas for improvement or something IT-Geeks could have done differently?

The only challenge was the time difference between us, which sometimes meant waiting for replies or scheduling calls outside normal working hours. That said, the team always considered our priorities and worked around our schedule, arranging calls at times that suited us and making sure urgent items, like getting everything ready before our exhibition, were handled first

Unfortunately, I’ve been really disappointed with my experience. I initially signed up after a pressure sale offer because I had an urgent website issue affecting my ability to run my shop. I was reassured they could resolve it, but weeks later I was told it was too big a task and could take weeks. I eventually fixed it myself within a couple of days. After complaining, they apologised and offered some free website work. Since then, I’ve repeatedly had to question whether work included in my contract had actually been completed, including image alt text, and have had to point out errors or missing work before it was corrected. They have been super friendly and responsive, but unfortunately I’ve lost confidence in the service because I’ve felt responsible for checking that the work I’m paying for is actually being done correctly. Most recently, I was promised one final piece of work which still hasn’t been resolved, and they have now stopped responding to my messages. Overall, a disappointing experience and I wouldn’t use the service again.

The project has allowed our website to sync with another active website, sharing products, filters, and live tracking, including live inventory tracking. We have seen an increase of about 12% in sales in a single category due to improved inventory. We are seeing more sales in this category than in previous years, and while we have not received direct customer feedback, the results have been positive. Once the filter project is completed, I anticipate an even better and more user-friendly experience for our customers, which should further increase our sales percentage.

Our website is much better and easier to use now. Editing our website is much easier, and we have a lot more freedom to create the website that we want. We've used them three times, and each time, they've been absolutely fantastic to work with. The project was about back-of-house theme editing. Creature Coffee continues to receive interest in its mobile coffee cart and coffee bean services. There was no increase or decrease after the work was done. The work completed was about editing the theme so that we could then edit the website ourselves. The IT-Geeks would send me email confirmation, images, and videos confirming that the edits were correct. This made Creature Coffee's website clearer and easier to use.

How did IT-Geeks perform from a project management standpoint?

They are absolutely awesome. Communication is absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend them. They did the work quickly, efficiently, and on time Their communication is amazing. We communicate via in-person meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

Their speed of work, communication, and thoroughness are impressive. If there's an issue, they deal with it straight away. They're clearly experts in Shopify and what they do.

We haven't seen any improvement in our website's speed metrics after IT-Geeks worked on our stores. Only after questioning them did they say this would be a bigger project and require 10 times the budget they quoted at the beginning of the engagement. It's absolutely shameful and disgraceful. I feel completely misled by such a cheap tactic.

Moreover, our SEO performance has been negative. We haven't seen anything positive, and IT-Geeks hasn't been able to show any progress to that extent.

IT-Geeks' project management has been misleading. IT-Geeks communicates via email and messages.

The team consistently updated us with the progress.  As this project was extremely complex, we did not meet the original deadline but we were aware ahead of time the reasoning and it was unavoidable.  The team worked extremely hard to ensure we received all the functionality plus additional improvements we desperately needed.

Their ability to handle so many tasks at one time.  Some days we were submitting 10-15 different things that needed to be handled and they were always on top of it.

Each time we received an invoice it showed as past due.  It was unclear how it could be past due when it was the first time we received the invoice to pay it.  This is a minor thing but it was frustrating the first time it happened because we are very meticulous about ensuring invoices are paid on time.

We use Basecamp to manage cards throughout our project timelines. There are over 75 small projects inside of our overhaul that IT-Geeks has assisted us with throughout our ongoing partnership. Our UX has been improved with both teams allowing for increased sales, site navigation, and use. We’re up 35% in sales since adjusting our UX and paid marketing approach.
