What was the scope of their involvement?

Inventam has developed our mobile and web app. They’ve handled the backend work and are responsible for bug fixes and improving both platforms. 

Regarding features and functionality, the app is like WhatsApp or Skype. It’s secured, hosted in Germany, and has a news feed. Essentially, it’s an information and communication platform. The web and mobile app versions have the same functionality. Moreover, the mobile app is compatible with iOS and Android devices. Both the mobile and web app versions are built using React.

Our team works with a developer and one of their chief officers.

We found Inventam on Upwork. Our team had a call with them, and we had clear communication. As a result, we felt that they could do the project. That was the reason we hired them.

We’ve spent less than $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our partnership started in November 2022, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Inventam has good technical expertise, and they’re flexible. We’re constantly doing new releases and checking their work each week. So far, we’re happy with them. They deal with bugs and problems professionally — the app and website meet our expectations.

They’ve done a good job managing the project; the team is truly organized. To communicate, we use Jira and Skype.

Their communication is clear.

I am a co-founder and Chief Product Officer of BattleBards LLC, providers of audio for tabletop games.

For what projects/services did your company hire Inventam Tech Solution OPC Pvt. Ltd, and what were your goals?

The web solutions had become outdated and we needed a full stack team to update our online Soundboard, Remote Player (Cast), Mixer, and Website to the latest tech and with a more responsive UX.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Inventam was part of a larger pool of candidate solution providers who were vetted by our CTO. After providing a small body of work to evaluate their work, Inventam was selected as our vendor.

Once contracts were signed, we scheduled a project kickoff to meet each member of the team Inventam was to bring as well as provide context regarding our target audience, current value props, current solutions which were to be replaced, and new VisD's / IxD's created by our designer.

The target deliverables were focused around a complete rebuild of our backend and frontend encapsulated with the discrete items being the new Soundboard, Remote Player (Cast), and Website. Since then, Inventam has been leading development with architectural guidance from our CTO. A high level delivery schedule was created by BattleBards with our assigned Product Manager working with their Scrum team daily. Management would participate during daily standups to unblock items as they appeared.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

A Program Manager was assigned to us as well as 2 backend and 1 frontend engineers as well as QA and design resources as they were required.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have yet to launch, however, we have been extremely pleased with their work output. Their ability to consistently deliver reliable, robust, and clean features free from the instabilities common with contractors who take shortcuts has been incredible. When Inventam delivers, you can depend on it.

We had daily standups with the entire team and in every case, their candid and professional updates helped to keep the project on track despite the hiccups that come up in any large software engineering efforts. Their timeline estimates were consistently on target (a very rare thing with may contracted teams) and blockers they would encounter were commonly ones we at BattleBards were responsible for addressing.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The quality and speed of their work set them above any other contracted team I've worked with.

None, honestly.

Key Deliverables being the project plan, project roadmap, project testing and the most important being the milestone for the project implementation.

Research, planning, implementation, execution and testing were delivered with accuracy and quality as per the defined scope. The project was delivered within the proposed timeline with discussions and testing at each level of integration and development. The project team was not only focusing on the development and designed but was also playing an effective role of business consultany wherein they have guided to develop a better product with a larger scope of services and minimizing the product cost.

The core team step in the shoe of the stakeholders and have detail discussions to understand the product by which they deliver the best in quality and cost. They acted as a business consultant who catered to all of our needs the smooth functioning of the project and business.

It was a great experience and will be continued to be a part of our journey. They have played both roles being on the part of product team and on the part of management. To improve on they can add in an entire team of management consultancy as many people or innovators at the inception face challenges but with thier expertise they can build a seprate team which cater to all round business solutions.

We hired Inventam for the development and QA services of the GetPrep platform.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We have preselected three vendors and interviewed/looked for the references of all of them and based on their feedback we decided to choose Inventam.

We went through the whole SDLC process from the kickoff to delivery. The key deliverable was the GetPrep code/platform along with the UI/UX. Technologies used were java and SQL.

We were able to successfully launch and market GetPrep to a few universities and many hundreds of students.

They leveraged agile methodology and we had daily standups. They delivered all deliverables on time and within budget by using a very professional approach and communication.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They helped us to design the product even though we didnt ask them and they were proactive in providing the feedback around the design that they thought can be improved.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I wished they bad business analysts at that time as Id hire them for the business analyst work as well.
