I'm the Public Services Manager at Boyd County Public Library.

For what projects/services did your company hire IntelliPoint Technologies?

Originally they provided us payroll book keeping software along with support. Later we used them for IT Support for our Network Administrator and now they are our sole Network, IT Support, Internet security and computer provider.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We really liked their book keeping software and based on their quality of service we went with them for the rest of our Networking needs.

Currently they maintain our network at 3 library branches. They have our computers on a replacement program. They provide online security and both in person and remote service solutions. They also consult with us for other electronic needs, Security cameras, Intercom systems, digital signage, etc.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Their services are ongoing. They have greatly reduced any downtime on our computers. Completed all projects on time and within budget. Very responsive to support tickets.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Excellent communication. Available via support ticket system or by telephone.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their attention to detail and making us feel like we are their only customers is very impressive to me. They feel like part of the team not an outside vendor.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not at this time. We are very pleased with our relationship.

We hired Intellipoint to construct computer system that best fits our type of work.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We were having issues with our current IT company and I believe a representative from Intellipoint came to our office on a sales call.

We needed a computer system set up for our company that would match the type of work needed to compete in the freight industry. They worked around our schedules and what was best for us. Derick installed our system in our last office in Culloden and did by working through the night to ensure it would not interfere with our work. When it was complete, it showed in the quality of the work done. He did the same when we moved to our current location.

We worked with the owner, Dennis, and mainly with Derick. There were others, but don't recall their names.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We know the quality of their work, by our lack of service calls we place to them. When they say they are going to do something, it gets done. Human communication and results are rare these days, but not with Intellipoint. They understand what is needed by knowing their customer's needs. We struggled many years finding an IT company that took pride in their work. We're glad we found Intellipoint and plan on continuing our partnership with them.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The communication between their team and ours, went without a hitch. Smooth transitions and instructional help made a non-issue workflow.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Human touch. The ability to call and talk with someone. The ability to have actual service, quickly.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The two "D'"''s of business. Discounts and donuts!
