We originally sought out Integricom as a way to augment our IT staffing. We needed to outsource the time-consuming end-user support like computer issues, phone issues, computer replacements, etc. The key deliverable for that was to end our use of expensive software developer hours on these tasks.

We also interviewed and then chose them for a project that we were undertaking to replace our VOIP telephony provider and consolidate and replace our local and toll-free phone numbers and providers into a single source to manage all telephony: lines, service, and end-user solutions.

We also hired Integricom to support our hardware in our network/server room. Key deliverable being a single number to call when we had any issues where they could fix the issue remotely, or on premises when needed, on the same day.

We also hired them for a project to convert a complicated mixture of hosted Exchange and webmail email services on an old provider to a easily-managed and capable solution on Microsoft 365, while incorporating these accounts into our other Microsoft cloud services.

They are very professional. The larger projects were handled by one of the senior members of the team. They were well managed and communicated. They were able to make all deadlines that we gave them.

For the ongoing support, I expected to have to deal with internal complaints from our staff as we outsourced service. Those complaints never came, which just can't be emphasized enough. Integricom was responsive, thorough, quick, and communicative in handling users' requests.

I’m an executive at Chi-Rho Financial, an investment management firm. We help with alternative investments for high-net-worth individuals and foundations, helping them pick alternative investments and hedge funds to get investment returns that aren’t correlated to the market.

We hired them to help with our telephone system's VoIP and manage our firewall.

What was the scope of their involvement?

IntegriCom provides us with limited recurring services for IT. They host our VoIP services for our phones, and they manage our firewall. Recently, we engaged them to manage the IT aspect of our move to a new office location. First, we talked with them about what we needed, and now they guide the process. Since we don't have a formal IT department, we didn't put together a brief. Instead, they prepared documentation for us. 

The team is helping us get our IT to work in the new space the same way it does at our current office. They're also reviewing the things we do and how to see if there's a better way to do them. They've primarily helped us with hardware and networking for the move, although we're also considering a software-based contract with them. 

They're handling internet cabling and have already set up our WiFi. IntegriCom came to our current office to get our network names and passwords, making them the same at the new office. The team has also provided consulting with our audio and video teleconferencing setup at our new conference room. They've laid out a list of options to configure the space and recommended a low-cost solution with a 360-degree camera that sits in the middle of the table, giving a 360-degree view of everyone. 

Currently, IntegriCom is in the execution phase. Next week, they'll finish the internet cabling and set up some TV sets. The week after, someone will install the access control devices, which include a keypad for employees to punch in a combination to get into the office.

We've worked with four teammates: Joel (President & CEO), Rob (Sales Manager), a senior IT and network engineer, and a project manager. The project manager quarterbacks different vendors and internal and external resources for IntegriCom. 

How did you come to work with IntegriCom, Inc.?

Our partnership with IntegriCom predates my joining the company. For our moving project, I knew I needed IT support. IntegriCom hosted a baseball event in July 2022, and they brought in some of their partners to talk about what they offer. Before that, I hadn't realized they provided as much as they did and chose them for the project because they had a broader scope than I knew. 

Moreover, they had a personal touch and were really used to dealing with people who weren't IT experts. While I handle most of our IT work, I'm not an expert, and IntegriCom had a good way of making me comfortable; they didn't use jargon I didn't understand and could look around the corners I didn't know to check. 

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent between $30,000–$40,000, including our ongoing services and the current moving project. We pay them monthly for the VoIP hosting and firewall management, and the move has a one-time cost, for which they gave us a detailed quote. They'll charge us for any additional tasks at an hourly rate.

We started working with them in September 2016, and our latest project began in August 2022. Our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

IntegriCom has been a great partner in helping us determine better ways to do IT. They have deep industry knowledge and a wide range of partners who can help us with any aspect of the move, whether it’s audio and video consulting, internet cabling, or our access control. Having a trusted partner to handle and quarterback our move has been really nice. 

We also appreciate them being cost-conscious for us in their conference room solutions. The team will even let us use a 360-degree camera to help us decide if we want to buy it, which is cool. Moreover, if we choose to put more investment into the audio and video systems in the future, we can go back to them and ask them to step us up. 

Additionally, the WiFi works at our new office in such a way that our devices that have memorized the network name and password will connect automatically. Although it might seem like a little thing, this is a nice touch, especially for people who aren’t tech-savvy. Overall, everything has gone really well so far. 

How did IntegriCom, Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve been very responsive and delivered on time. So far, they’ve also stayed on budget, though I haven’t received the final invoice, so the final budget is still to be determined. We primarily communicate through a combination of email and phone calls. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

IntegriCom’s personal touch distinguishes them from other providers. Additionally, they have the ability to smoothly interface with people without an IT background, making them feel comfortable. They’re true partners that can explain complex things and anticipate our needs. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t see any obvious improvement opportunity; I’m really satisfied. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Part of the beauty of IntegriCom is that you don’t really need particular advice to work with them, so you definitely should. They do a really good job and are easy to work with. They’ve been there for us throughout the process, anticipating our needs and looking around corners.

I’m the general manager of a full-print and digital marketing firm. We mostly do production work for various companies.

What challenge were you trying to address with IntegriCom, Inc.?

We hired them to get us into a higher IT security and compliance level. This started with a large enterprise client of ours who needed us at a certain level of IT compliance, and we realized we had about a year’s worth of IT projects that we needed to condense down to about a month and a half.  

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

IntegriCom manages our entire IT environment from A to Z; they provide monthly managed services and cybersecurity. Initially, we went through what our initial environment looked like, and they did a very thorough assessment. Although the majority of their work is remote, they come onsite when we need them to. They have an encrypted portal that allows them to manage our computers and produce reports. 

On top of the monthly management, we had about 18 IT projects, and the team has already completed around 10 of them. IntegriCom has decommissioned outdated servers. On the compliance side, they’ve helped us set security profiles, moved us fully into Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), and migrated our entire infrastructure from a physical server into the cloud. 

They’ve helped us purchase new computers to standardize our refresh cycles. We have the rough spec ranges, and they ordered the equipment and had it delivered to their office. From there, they reconfigured the computers, including the hard disk encryption, put all of our security software in, set them up in Azure AD under our organization, and then delivered them to us ready to go. 

In terms of long-term engagement, they monitor our security and make sure we stay compliant. If we have issues, they have a help desk we can reach out to. Currently, they’re rolling out different security policies and helping us document what our employees will have to sign in the employee manual.

I’ve met everyone on the IntegriCom team; we did a site visit, and they walked me through the office to meet everyone. We’ve worked with Calvin (IT Support Technician), Joseph (IT Technician), the operations manager, and a teammate who does their scheduling. 

How did you come to work with IntegriCom, Inc.?

I met IntegriCom’s owner through networking in our local area. We really connected over their company culture and values, which are a rarefied focus of what they do as a company. After meeting with them, we saw they genuinely exemplify their values, hire based on them, and follow through. The more we got to know them and built that trust, the better the fit became.

We’ve spent $10,000–$25,000. This includes purchasing new hardware and asking them to work nights to meet our deadline. Our arrangement is monthly, and they bill us an overage rate per hour when anything goes beyond that contract.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

IntegriCom has gone above and beyond. Server migration is usually a fairly in-depth project that could take about a month, and they did it correctly in two days, ensuring everything was transferred properly. The team is extremely professional; they’re exceptional in their industry. Overall, their work has exceeded expectations.

How did IntegriCom, Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve kept on budget at every step of the project. In fact, we’ve spent a fraction of what I had anticipated getting these projects through. Timeline-wise, they’re always way faster than I expect. Having worked with other managed service providers in the past, IntegriCom has provided, by far, the best project management experience. 

As for communication tools, they adapt to whatever I need. Usually, I call them directly, and they follow up with an email detailing what we discussed, and I can reply via email or call.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

What distinguishes IntegriCom from other providers is how much they care; they go the extra mile every single step of the way. If we call and they’re in a meeting, they’ll roughly give us a time of availability and then call us two minutes after they’re out of their meeting. If we have a question or an urgent issue, they adjust their approach accordingly.

For example, we had a difficult deadline to meet, and they worked with me until late at night or rolled out Azure policies throughout the weekend. I’d see them working as I was trying to get caught up on some of my work. IntegriCom adapts to what we need, and they follow through. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing they could do better. I’ve been overly impressed on every side — I’ve never seen a company like them. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

My advice is to tell them your needs and budget and have an open dialogue with them. Additionally, I’d recommend taking the time to get to know the team personally because they’re pretty fantastic.

We provide education and guidance for Medicare eligible insureds on their best choices for health coverage plans and how to use their Medicare benefits. I have been the Agency Manager for 8 years now.

They have managed our IT services since March 2013. We have since moved from a dedicated server to a cloud based server along with phone, internet, and Microsoft Office 365 email and software that they manage for us.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We put project bids out back in 2013 and they were the best fit for our needs and their pricing was extremely competitive.

This last project they did, moved our in house phones and server hardware over to a totally cloud managed system. They provide our computers and desk phones as well. They broke the project into smaller manageable pieces to allow less impact on our day to day operations.

They did not move to the next phase in the project until the prior one was completely functioning to theirs and our standards. This caused very little disruptions to our daily work. They continue to manage our systems with monthly contract work.

Five were involved: Daniel handled phones and higher level computer/server integrations, Chad handled computer and software integrations, Anja handled billing and resources/research, Calvin handled quoting on new hardware if needed as well as some research on integration over to Sharepoint, and Danielle handled open tickets/customer service on the project

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our old system had some issues with system crashes due to the in house server and software. This caused many incidents of down time and inability to work in our systems. Our client appointments occur in face to face, zoom, and phone settings.

This was difficult if a client was in an appointment with our staff member and everything shut down - causing a rescheduling/delay in their appointment or enrollment for their health plan. Since this project, we have not had incidents and everything is running so smoothly.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Extremely effective! They broke the project down into manageable phases. Each of their staff worked through his/her are of the phase seamlessly. Overall the experience was highly successful.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They provide extremely tailored service to their clients. This demonstrates their desire to meet their clients' needs first. All of their staff is so professional, but cater to our individual needs during service calls, etc.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There were a few delays on research/purchases but to no fault of theirs. During this COVID era - many of their third party vendors were experiencing delays on computers, etc. This did push the project back a little, but we did not incur down time or productivity issues on our end so it really wasn't a problem.

We hired IntegriCom to guide us in improving network security and reliability. Soon after IntegriCom started we found that they offered more. We started using them for network device and traffic monitoring, Data back-ups, equipment/service recommendations and more.

We interviewed IntegriCom and found the list of provided services were a great fit for us. Besides the services IntegriCom offered their professionalism and knowledge was a major deciding factor.

We brought IntegriCom in to help secure and upgrade our network that was the original project. After working with them we decided to keep them on board for future projects and everyday assistance.

With the guidance of their staff, we have upgraded all Firewalls, 95% of server, Most switches and all workstations. We have implemented countless systems, and created a very robust network using Fiber and microwave routes that covers our 7 county service area. We have systems in place now that lets us know within minutes of any device that loses connection using their network monitoring software.

We work with different Employees on a daily basis depending on the task at hand. I have worked with every employee at one point or another.

Now that we have IntegriCom managing our network we have a lot less down time due to equipment failure or routing issues. It is very helpful that they can work alone on our network. At this point its almost like an extension of our IT department.

One of my favorite aspects is how quick they are to contact you after opening a ticket on their portal or via email. usually we get a response the same day.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What impressed me the most is their knowledge and professionalism. This is by far the best team of IT personnel I have every worked with. It doesn't matter the time of day/night or the complexity of the issue you will always be met with the same professional attitude.

For a relatively small firm, we needed a great deal of expertise in the IT space, not just telephony, networking, and user support but some other complex security requirements. As a result, we needed an IT staff of 8–10 people. We didn’t need them full-time, but we wanted to utilize their expertise at all times, so we looked for a partner that could meet all of our needs.

What was the scope of their involvement?

IntegriCom provides all of our desktop workstation support, and they’re in charge of our cloud networking management. On top of that, they build our users’ setup, and they create the databases of our servers. In addition to being a managed service provider, they provide consulting services to ensure that all our security requirements are met and that includes presenting us with recommendations regarding our security requirements. To kickstart the engagement, they’ve required us to answer a lot of questionnaires in order to push us to make decisions.

We’re working with an executive contact, a customer service manager, and a ticket support manager. The ticket support manager ensures that all of our tickets are worked with priority and timeliness. We also work with 4–5 technicians and analysts and they're focused on our IT efforts.

When we were moving into a new building, we found out that IntegriCom managed the IT in that building. As a result, we decided to work with them on small projects. What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’re a remote workforce, so we ship workstations all over the country. With IntegriCom’s help, we’ve never lost a laptop and we’ve never had laptops that have not been returned properly. On top of that, we have around 99% uptime for our network and workstations. In addition, the team has been able to process all our tickets on a regular basis.

How did IntegriCom, Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

Since IntegriCom has a customer service manager for our account, their project management process has been effective. They also effectively handle all our tickets to ensure that timelines are met. We mainly communicate through email, phone, or the ticket system. Moreover, they have a tool where they can remotely manage all end-users on their computer.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The IntegriCom team has been very honest and consistent. Their technical expertise stands out, and they’re very easy to work with. Above all, they do what they say they’ll do.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We’ve had 1–2 times when their process wasn’t refined, and they weren't able to handle things well. With our regular executive meetings and IntegriCom’s willingness to get feedback, they’ve been able to correct that and they now resolve our issues in a timely manner.

You need to have a primary contact or executive sponsor that will be responsible for communicating with IntegriCom. More importantly, you have to set their priorities.
