I’m one of the co-founders of an organic food retailer.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Instantly Design?

We needed someone to help us redesign our app to make it more user-friendly.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Instantly Design was our primary mobile app development and UI/UX design partner. We started the project with a discovery call to answer questions about our problems and what we wanted to achieve. We identified and developed user personas of what we think our target audience will be like.

They then sent us a proposal with the scope of work and created a couple of mock-ups of the app’s structure. After that, we made some adjustments and changes to the UI until we got the final product we wanted. The team utilized Figma as their primary development tool throughout the process.

What is the team composition?

I mainly interfaced with the owner and one of the designers. 

How did you come to work with Instantly Design?

Instantly Design was referred to us by our previous vendor, and we hired them based on their excellent e-commerce portfolio.

How much have you invested with them?

We invested about $1,800 in this project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from November 2022–January 2023.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It’s still early to gauge any metrics for the app, but we’ve garnered a lot of positive feedback from our user tests. 

How did Instantly Design perform from a project management standpoint?

My marketing manager was the one who mostly communicated with the team, so I’m not the best person to answer this question.

The initial meetings were done through Zoom.

What did you find most impressive about them?

When it comes to e-commerce expertise, Instantly Design is one of the best companies to engage with. They understand the ins and outs of the industry, and they have great case studies and an excellent portfolio to back them up.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’m really satisfied with how the project went, so there’s nothing they needed to improve on.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Communication is key, so I’d advise you to be open with your ideas and share as many details on what you want to achieve as possible, so they can create a fully-functioning product.
