Profitbase is a Norwegian software company. We create software for the office of finance; we mainly do budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and risk management.
Additionally, we have science software for Power BI. I’m the product manager for every Power BI-related product. We also have some visual add-ons for Power BI.

We needed help with custom software development.

What was the scope of their involvement?
INOXOFT’s service mainly involves plug-ins and add-on tools to Microsoft. The scope is whatever our customers want us to build for them. Based on their feedback, we specify what needs to be created. We tell them the requirements, and INOXOFT builds the features. After the tests, we send them back and go back and forth like that.
They use JavaScript and React for the main components. Currently, they’re working on three different visuals: a financial reporting matrix, profit-based charts, and a profit-based risk matrix.
Initially, we started with many developers to get the product up and running. After the first version was out, we scaled down the number of developers, and now it’s only maintenance and minor updates.
What is the team composition?
We work with five teammates. Zoriana S. (Project Manager) is the coordinator; she administrates everything and ensures we have enough resources. Zoriana H. (Business Analyst) helps us create the specifications of what needs to be done and handles the communication on many features. Additionally, we have three developers who are 100% only developers.
How did you come to work with INOXOFT?
I don’t know exactly because when I started in 2020, INOXOFT was already working for us. They began by working on the visuals and developing our websites.
How much have you invested with them?

We began working with them in January 2019, and they’re still on board. We have a long-term engagement.

We set goals when we want to release new versions, but never a hard date because there can always be something more to fix, so we’ll push the deadline a bit. We look at how many releases we get and how many bug fixes we do, but not under strict targets. Overall, we’re very satisfied with INOXOFT’s work and their progress.
How did INOXOFT perform from a project management standpoint?
INOXOFT is very responsive, so we’ve never had issues getting in touch with anyone. We have two meetings every week as a default to get updates on progress and feedback and sort questions about features.
Additionally, we have ad hoc meetings when needed and communicate via chats, Microsoft Teams, and emails.

Zoriana H. has been crucial to keep everything tidy and have a good overview of what’s happening and what needs to be done. As we move along, they keep everything documented.
One of the developers has also been great for the project. It’s important to have consistency in the resources that work on the project, and they have a history with the previous versions. They know what’s been done before, so it’s good to have them along.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re very skilled and good at what they do. When we get new developers, they pick up everything quickly and efficiently. Working on a new project or product is a learning curve, but we’ve been impressed by how fast INOXOFT can jump on and contribute to the project.
Are there any areas they could improve?
INOXOFT has been good; there’s not much for them to improve. It mostly depends on our wishes; INOXOFT has suggested different roles to include in the project to enhance progress documentation and testing. However, we’ve been held back due to costs and resource allocation. Maybe it’d be better if we added resources, but we’ve decided to do these things ourselves.

We were pleasantly taken aback and chose this forward-thinking team instantly.

To ensure the best possible decision-making option, Inoxoft decided to implement Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies. Also, to be able to implement changes in the system separately, Inoxoft used the microservices architecture. Thus, we have a server-side application, a client-side user interface, and a database (cloud) that can be dealt with separately without compromising the work of the other parts of the app. The system under development is really immense and requires lots of dedication to detail.

There are at least 10 people on the team, including a PM, a BA, a designer, frontend/backend developers, and several QA engineers. We intend to hire more professionals within time and per need.

It is quite early to speak about the results as the team is in the process of development. So far we have seen only two results of the sprints and the features deployed. There were produced with perfection. However, as the SaaS platform is a complex fintech solution, it requires more features to be implemented to observe the measurable outcomes.

We work with Inoxoft according to a 2-week sprint model, all managed on a structured Jira board and backlog. We were trying to create a website for a business that is primarily virtual.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
They helped us with the design phase, balancing many different requirements to service our existing and prospective customers. Moving forward, INOXOFT did the actual website build and developed reporting metrics to monitor performance post-launch.
They started with an analysis of our competitors’ websites, investigating their organizational plans, and then customizing them to fit our sales and operations processes.
We built the site with a look similar to the major players in the industry, where people can look at a feed of homes that they might be interested in. We also made specific updates to our site that allowed existing customers to follow their homes through the sales process. INOXOFT also created links to our property management portals.
We worked through Figma a lot, as well as Salesforce. They also integrated an MLS data feed (a real estate data solution). INOXOFT has managed to extract data from the website and give it to our sales team.

I’m the operations manager for a logistics company in the US.

What challenge were you trying to address with INOXOFT?
We hired INOXOFT to help us develop our software.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Our software will help trucks with the loading, delivery, and pickup processes. Additionally, it will facilitate daily operational jobs for our dispatchers and other workers and will manage the entire loading process. Eventually, we want to generate reports for our customers, too. All the details of our communication have been discussed during the initial stage with the engagement team before we went to the development stage. Our partnership's still ongoing.
What is the team composition?
We’re working with a project manager, a designer, two QA engineers, and three software engineers.
How did you come to work with INOXOFT?
We did most of our search through Clutch, and INOXOFT seemed to be a great fit for this partnership. We read some feedback and followed the links to their website, and their case studies and success stories impressed us. When we approached them with our idea, they offered us different options and explained the pros and cons for each of those options.
How much have you invested in them?
We’ve spent approximately $400,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our ongoing partnership started in May 2021.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
It’s still too early to mention anything as the project is still ongoing and a lot is under NDA. However, we’re satisfied with our engagement, especially with their solution and the way they’ve implemented it. More importantly, since we don’t have experience with this kind of project before, it’s been really convenient to work with INOXOFT.
How did INOXOFT perform from a project management standpoint?
They have an excellent project management process. In terms of cost, quality, and time, we’re satisfied with their work. They give us weekly updates, and they consistently follow up. In fact, our project manager always informs us about any changes or issues in our project.
We communicate through Slack, email, or Google Meet, depending on the situation. We receive the follow-ups through emails, and we arrange online meetings 1–2 times per week. Overall, our communication with them has been convenient and smooth.
What did you find most impressive about them?
To be honest, it’s difficult to say what sets them apart from others because this is our first outsourcing experience. However, we’re impressed that they’re committed to our project and that they know what they’re doing. Above all, their flexibility and fresh views are outstanding.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anything right now.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Communicate and discuss everything at the beginning such as identifying how you will communicate with INOXOFT. You should also share your expectations and every little detail you want to know with them. In general, your questions are the key to your project’s success.

Convenience and logical navigation are the app’s core players.

For what projects/services did your company hire INOXOFT, and what were your goals?
Our initial need was to provide a functional database for realtors and automate their daily tasks with the web application that handles properties for sale, lease, auctions, and for businesses. Also, in the midst of a pandemic, it was essential for us that the app could provide clients with virtual property tours using images and videos. And, one of the features we wanted to have in our app was to be able to cross-share property listing between fellow agents. To implement our ideas we hired Inoxoft.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Inoxoft was selected as it has recommended itself in the real estate industry as the best software developer. We’ve contacted their engagement manager and were pleasantly surprised by the dedication and willingness to help. The deciding factor was the brilliantly structured proposal that included everything we aimed for and the timeframes. Also, they could start working on the project right away.

The scope of work was pretty extensive from the very start. We had a lot of ideas and wanted these to be a reality for our website visitors. For example, the first step was to gather information about our audience, properties we work with, and their features. Then, we planned project details such as time, software engineers involved, the stack, additional technologies, and so on.

It has been 4 months of excellent work and cooperation with Inoxoft’s young team of experts. By so far, we’re in the design stage. The web app screens look great! But it is still too early to mention the app’s functionality.

The way we work at the project development has been set at the initial stages, before getting into the development. There are stages of building an app the team goes through. After they finish a feature or a part of the design, we look through the team’s work, make corrections where necessary or approve. The process is smooth and the project manager is extremely informative all the time.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I like the way the team organizes and structures their work. Especially, the way they are always there to listen to the stakeholders’ feedback and implement everything we aim to see in our app. It seems they deploy the app, not for the sake of deployment itself, but to really enhance the business and help website visitors rent, sell or buy property. And, realtor agents to help clients with their property-related purposes.

I envisioned a solution that could be fast in response, easy to use, logical, and secure to add to the healthy well-being of our target users.

From the first letter, they convinced me that they would be 100% committed to my project and business development, in perspective.

They worked according to my expectations: consistently, adapted to everything, were flexible to changeable project requirements. I’ve had numerous discussions/meetings with the team. These meetings and daily talks made me fully aware of the project progress and current tasks in production. The project manager appeared to be really professional and managed the team and my requests perfectly. Also, the way she spoke about the app functionality being implemented was quite amazing: the scope of detail she highlighted confirmed that my choice was an accurate fit.
Logging into the app, every patient appeared on the dashboard with the most needed widgets that were logically structured and simple to use. The team has implemented a face-to-face “doctor-patient” connection via a live video available on mobile devices and tablets. Also, Inoxoft created a patient 24/7 support chat, where patients could create an appointment or ask any doctor for a piece of advice right away. Additionally, the app allowed patients to view their online doctor visit records, doctor’s prescriptions, and treatment details. The app was developed in accordance with HIPPA compliance.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
After the app was released I received an abundance of comments from satisfied users, who enjoyed the on-demand healthcare service. What’s more, the category of people, who could not get appropriate treatment became able to receive it now within minutes after their request.
