What challenge were you trying to address with Innovation Development HUB?

We needed support for our internal IT department to integrate various systems.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They’ve helped us plan and procure all the hardware, software, and security infrastructure for the hospital that is currently being constructed. They’re building everything custom as our industry is unique—we have not just reporting, but healthcare IT solutions that need to follow strict rules. We also want them to develop a mobile application and they’re involved in the automatization of our work processes.

There’s a project manager and usually 3­–6 people.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in April 2017, and the work is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It’s been a positive cooperation. Their team is always supportive, and they’ve made a lot of new development and modules for our company. Our systems are integrated and now we can see a lot of our supervisory board’s things online, our stakeholders can follow their items each day. They’ve also worked well on quite a number of smaller projects.

How did Innovation Development HUB perform from a project management standpoint?

We have weekly calls with them and on-site meetings in our offices when needed. For immediate support, they’re available immediately 90% of the time. We have conference calls and they’re supportive over email too.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They follow our workflow and are always cooperative; helping us where they can. When we had some issues with the development companies that were supporting the native IT solutions, they implemented a tracking module to allow us to more actively check the progress and status. They came here and negotiated it with the vendor and implemented it. They’re proactive in that way, which is great.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I really like working with them.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They’re very flexible and we really like working with them. Even though they’re in Ukraine, they’re more flexible and quicker than other companies we’ve tried to work with.

I’m the B2B project manager at Lifecell, a Ukrainian mobile telecom operator and the daughter company of Turkish operator Turkcell. We provide mobile connections to the Ukrainian people.

What challenge were you trying to address with Innovation Development HUB?

We’d decided to launch a mobile ID service for our customers and needed help with its development. It’s a digital signature equivalent to a physical signature when signing contracts and other documents.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Innovation Development HUB created a service that’s integrated into a user’s SIM card with a special security space where the application is downloaded. If the user wants to sign something, they can push the button on the web page or another portal that they want to sign on, and they will get a notification on their phone. They can then confirm with a private password and sign the document.

For this, we integrated the Innovation Development HUB platform with customers and service providers that issue documents to be signed—for example, online services for electronic document sending. We’re basically using Innovation Development HUB’s platform, integrating all sides into one process.

What is the team composition?

There were about 20 people involved in the team working on the integration, including legal, IT, and commercial specialists. Now, I’m in contact with their project manager, who’s responsible for interfacing with our company. I’m also in touch with the IT director and the commercial director.

How did you come to work with Innovation Development HUB?

When we decided to launch the mobile ID product, we wanted to find a provider and initiated a tender. We got offers from different participants, and several of them were good. Innovation Development HUB had the best solution and security.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began the tender in 2018 and signed the contract with Innovation Development HUB in July 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We want to collaborate with the government and build different digital national programs. Mobile ID is an important part of this program, as it allows people to get different government services. Overall, the potential of the product is very big.

Our company and Innovation Development HUB are always looking for new potential clients. If we get more clients, we’ll have more revenue. Their solution is the best on the Ukrainian market, and maybe even in Eastern Europe. Innovation Development HUB provides high-quality solutions in the cybersecurity field.

How did Innovation Development HUB perform from a project management standpoint?

The marketing team from our side has a relationship with Innovation Development HUB, and I can rate them a 10/10 on how they work. They’re flexible, dynamic, and respond quickly to any issue we may have. If we have to change something, they do it promptly. I like that they’re focused on revenue and looking for new opportunities for expanding our product to new customers.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re a Ukrainian company with a good level of service and great products. I haven’t seen similar companies in Ukraine. Innovation Development HUB is unique.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

I think they’ve performed quite well, and I can’t say anything bad about them.

They delivered keyword research and set up a variety of campaigns to deliver our different goals. They set up search and display campaigns, shopping ads and YouTube ads as well as Performance Max campaigns. They were responsible for ongoing optimisation of the campaigns and regular reporting.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• They delivered our target development hub for the greatest ideas. They always flagged if there was a risk of a campaign not performing due to budget or targeting, so we could tackle these ahead of the campaign to make them successful.
