What was the scope of their involvement?
Innotical Solutions has helped us build mobile apps, web platforms, and AR projects for our clients. Their team builds the front- and backend while we supply the designs.
In one case, Innotical Solutions helped us develop a web and mobile app that serves as a health database for patients. It describes diseases, symptoms, causes, and potential treatments so that laypeople are more informed about their health. The database differs from similar online resources because its information is more relevant to users based in India, where specific diseases and conditions are more prevalent than in the US, for example.
Another project involved a purely web-based tool for home décor retailers and designers dealing in hard goods—products built in wood, metal, glass, and other solid materials. It informs users of past, current, and future trends in the market, and it lets them categorize products by trend, material, availability, and other factors.
This is a handful of the projects we’ve finished together. We’re currently working with Innotical Solutions on an AR application that we hope to pitch to schools and hospitals. It will allow for a deeper, more visual learning experience by showing users things like a projected skeleton.
What is the team composition?
For each project, we communicate with one lead person on their team. We’ve tried talking directly to their developers, but due to our lack of coding knowledge, we don’t know the right questions to ask. I’ve worked with their head designer, their backend lead, and a contact for the ongoing AR tool.
How did you come to work with Innotical Solutions?
One of Innotical Solutions’ founders was a close friend of ours before we started working together. However, we didn’t choose them just because of that relationship. Innotical Solutions provides us with exactly what we ask for, and they offer customization options that no other company has in our experience. They also deeply care about the product they make and regularly suggest ways to make our concepts better technology-wise.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent about $300,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The collaboration started in January 2015 and is ongoing.
