BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm a co-founder at Pip Labs. We are a small venture studio working with technology to discover niche problems, validate ideas, and deploy products aligned with our privacy focused ethos.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Initprise?

We worked with Initprise on the deployment of algorithms we developed for a cryptocurrency payment API. Initprise helped us take a basic concept and delivered a working solution.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to quickly deploy a working MVP to power a range of other products we were/are working on.

How did you select this vendor?

We were recommended them through a contact who had experience with the founder of Initprise. Anders exceeded our expectations and we were delighted to be referred to him.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

The created everything from the AWS serverless architecture, to Lambda code implementation of our algorithms, API deployment, documentation, and all supporting components.

What was the team composition?

We worked directly with Anders on this project and as it was a small project, we didn't work with any further team members.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

This project formed the foundation of an important part of our business and without it we wouldn't be where we are today.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project management was handled with agile methodology and relevant tools such as Trello.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Incredibly clear communication, accurate estimations, transparency, and dedication were all impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Only some minor improvements to how project management tools were used. But that was not an issue due to the excellent communication.
