Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm the manager of product development at CorePoint Solutions and we provide an occupational health and safety software solution. We have been in business for about 15 years and work with large global customers to help manage their occupational health and safety.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with IncubXperts?

Our biggest need was to have a disconnected mobile application for our occupational health and safety system that utilizes Microsoft Azure. We looked for skilled developers that understood business and how to develop products in a better way.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We had IncubXperts start out on a small data feed project that ran nightly. The feed joined an H.R. system into our system. As soon as they finished the project, we realized the quality of their work and shifted them onto our mobile application. The application allows people to do a variety of tasks such as inspections, observations, and actions, while out in the field.

They have been fantastic in setting up and fine-tuning our Azure environment to support the mobile app. There has been a lot of back-and-forth communication between us to get our mobile app up and going. We just received our disconnected Android app for initial testing, and are happy with the progress.

IncubXperts came up with solutions that have streamlined our Azure costs while providing a solid solution.

Preetam [Tiwari, Co-Founder and Director, IncubXpert] is our project manager and the relationship with him has been awesome.

How much have you invested with them?

Around $15,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working with them in July 2017 and it is an ongoing relationship.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We have been in development for most of the time, but they take our requirements and take it a step further. The conversations that we have with them are very creative. They think up of different scenarios and bring up new information that takes our application to the next level.

How did IncubXperts perform from a project management standpoint?

IncubXperts work very well independently and bring us in when required for clarification and design decisions. We communicate primarily through email and, web meetings.​​​​​​​

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have a great deal of experience as developers and as a company. They look at the underlying project and make sure that it has a solid architecture in place and is scalable for the future.​
