IMS INVEST doo was founded in 1999 as part of the reorganization of profit centers of companies within the IMS GROUP. Initially, IMS INVEST's primary activity was the construction of rental business facilities. In 2001, IMS INVEST expanded its business to road construction, the production of polymer modified bitumen based on BP technology, and to the production of composite bitumen - low temperature bitumen based on Sasobit - Sasol technology.
In 2008, he acquired the exclusive representation of Hercules, Ashland Technologies, today Solenis - a company specializing in the production and distribution of specialty chemicals in the paper industry and water treatment in Slovenia and Croatia. Following the acquisition of Hercules by Ashland Industries and the subsequent acquisition of Solenis by Ashland Water Tehnologis, IMS INVEST today successfully markets and distributes Solenis technologies and specialty chemicals on the Slovenian and Croatian markets.
In 2015, however, the company also started supplying raw vermiculite from the Dhiniza mine, Zimbabwe for the needs of the European market.
