Idea Fueled was brought in to complete a substantial website overhaul for Layers Consulting, a professional development and consulting business serving speech-language pathologists and allied health providers across two tracks: Private Practice and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CLD) professional development. The site was built on Framer and needed both structural rebuilding and new functionality to properly represent both sides of the business, improve navigation, and reduce ongoing dependency on developer support.

Key Deliverables:

• CLD integration: Redesigned and integrated the previously standalone CLD Professional Development page into the site's main navigation and visual language; built a new Professional Development landing page and a dedicated Speaking Request page with an embedded inquiry form.
• Products & CMS architecture: Rebuilt the Products page into a tabbed structure across four categories (Memberships, Courses, Consulting, Documents), fully powered by Framer CMS so the client can add or edit offerings independently going forward.
• Homepage refresh: Restructured the homepage layout and navigation to clearly represent both service tracks and guide visitors to the right offering.
• Press & Interviews and Testimonials: Converted both into CMS-managed sections, replacing broken/static links with a scalable, client-editable structure.
• Mailchimp integration: Built out lead magnet delivery automations tied to individual course offerings, including tagging and email delivery workflows. 
• SEO: Updated meta titles and descriptions across key pages, corrected a URL slug typo with proper redirect, renamed and redirected the Philosophy page, and resolved a noindex tag that was blocking a key page from being indexed by Google.
• Site-wide cleanup: Fixed broken navigation and footer links, removed outdated content, and completed mobile responsiveness fixes across the Products and Testimonials pages.

The project was delivered across three milestones with strong communication throughout, and follow-up fixes were addressed promptly when issues were identified during final review.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• CMS collections expanded from a single manually-managed products list to 10 structured Framer CMS collections, covering Memberships, Courses, Consulting, Documents, Testimonials, and Press & Interviews — enabling the client to add/edit content independently going forward.
• 9 course-specific lead magnet automations built and confirmed functional in Mailchimp, each with correct tagging and delivery.
• A previously unindexed, disconnected page (CLD Professional Development) is now fully integrated into site navigation and confirmed indexable by Google — resolved a noindex tag that had been blocking it from search visibility entirely.
• All identified post-launch bugs (5 total, spanning testimonials navigation, mobile display, and broken CTAs) were resolved within 24–48 hours of being reported, with each fix independently verified before final sign-off.
• SEO technical issues resolved, including a URL slug correction with 301 redirect, a page rename with redirect, and cleanup of multiple broken/duplicate sitemap submissions in Google Search Console.
• Project delivered across 3 milestones on the agreed Upwork contract, with final milestone signed off and payment released after a full audit against the original Scope of Work confirmed deliverables met.

I think they just need to broaden their scope a bit more, build experience in more industries to fuel more ideas.
