I’m a self-published author. I published my first book in 2017, the second one is pending, and I’m working on a third.

What challenge were you trying to address with Icon Digital Solutions?

I needed a way to promote my books. People google the authors they find on Amazon or Barnes & Noble, so I needed to have a website. I did have a site that my boyfriend created for me, but it wasn’t very professional.  

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Icon Digital created my personal website, MiaMatza.com. We had a lot of back-and-forth communication, and they gave me a couple of ideas on what the site should be. I was basically trying to create a brand for myself as a writer, and they put that into perspective.

I showed them my old website and told them that I didn’t want the new one to look like that. They sent me a paper to write my ideas on, and we had a phone call to discuss the site. I gave them some pictures from my Instagram for the site. They picked snippets from my books to showcase on the site, and they also designed the cover for my third book.

What is the team composition?

I’ve worked with Atilla (Owner) and another member.

How did you come to work with Icon Digital Solutions?

I found them through word of mouth after talking to people about what I was doing. It’s also possible that I found Icon Digital on Instagram or LinkedIn.

How much have you invested with them?

The development cost me between $600 and $700. I’m paying around $35 per month for maintenance.

What is the status of this engagement?

I started working with Icon Digital in August 2020. The work was done in under a week. They’re also providing maintenance.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I’m very fortunate to have met Atilla. He’s a lifesaver. He has an answer for every question, he’s accurate, and the prices are great.

I got a simple package, and it was amazing. I didn’t think that companies like this actually existed. I thought that everything was overpriced and complicated.

Icon Digital over-delivered on everything I requested. It felt like they really wanted to satisfy me, and they took all my ideas into consideration.

How did Icon Digital Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

They delivered early, which was great for me because I’m impatient. We had back-and-forth conversations over email and phone calls. I felt that Icon Digital treated my project as a priority. They always answered my emails within half an hour. Atilla listened to me patiently on the phone, and he always sent me call notes via email afterward. That confirmed that he was actually listening to me and taking it seriously.

What did you find most impressive about them?

It’s the communication.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t mention anything. Icon Digital stuck to what they promised.

I’m the owner of Restorative Health Solution. We use micro-current biofeedback devices. We also offer a body treatment that detoxes at the cellular level.

My business was in Iowa but I moved to Arizona and was essentially starting over.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They recreated two separate websites for me for my two main offerings. Then, they merged both websites into one and connected my old website name to it so people can type in either name and find information. He also manages the site now, putting up testimonials when I provide them immediately.

How did you come to work with Icon Digital Solutions?

I found a small business growth group that Atilla runs. At the group, I really liked what he had to say and talked to him about redoing my website. I really enjoyed his passion for helping entrepreneurs. He was very sincere in taking time out of his day to help people grow their business.

We spent $3,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from September until December 2017.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The website is very user-friendly and I get a lot of compliments on it. It’s easy to navigate and find the information you’re looking for.

How did Icon Digital Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

We mostly text message and email, but if I even need to talk to him over the phone all I have to do is schedule a time and they’re available. I can’t say enough positive things about them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

If I’m having a problem, Atilla will go above and beyond to solve whatever problem you’re having.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

He’s so easy to work with so anyone will be really pleased.
