We hired iAriana Technologies to develop a scheduling application (ANDRIOD/IOS) for the entertainment industry. Our goal was to minimize the time spent scheduling employees to maximize efficiency on the job site.

We submitted screens to a handful of developers and after a strenuous process we landed on iAriana Technologies.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

So far the app has been a great help scheduling employees however do to the pandemic we really haven’t been able to see it’s use maximized. So far we’ve already seen a 50% boost in efficiency when it comes to hiring employees.

We submitted major files over google drive and for most part feedback was delivered over WhatsApp, this proved to be more beneficial because of expediency.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I found this company extremely driven when it comes to finishing projects. Deadlines were always met and they have a knack delivering a final product light years ahead of what I asked for. They really helped me to avoid a great deal of problems that would’ve came later in development.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Only that they reach out more if any insureties arise.

We engaged iAriana to help us with several custom Wordpress projects as our in-house developer was at capacity. Our goal was to find a partner who held similar values and work quality- both of which iAriana has held true to.

They were referred to us by a mutual contact. After reviewing the quality of past projects and understanding their process we felt comfortable moving forward.

Again this was focused on a few different custom Wordpress projects. We handled the design and project planning and it was passed to them for custom development.

Several people ranging from a project manager, front end developer and back end developer.

The clients seem pleased with the work.

Our team has a fairly stringent process we follow and iAriana adapted to fit those processes. We use slack for communication and Wrike for project management. Although the one project went over the original projected timeline, we were able to get things back on track in a fairly quick manner.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The team is always pleasant to deal with.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Deadlines and quality of work are very important to us. The communication around a missed deadline should have been stronger. In addition, when scoping a new project, at the time of reviewing the brief is when questions should arise. On the one project there was significant confusion about what was required partway through and I'd like to see those details clarified at the beginning so as to not cause a delay but also limits the amount of QA time my team spends.

I am Member of the Board at a 75 year old NGO. We work to help build sense of belonging to the members of the community, provide Medical and Educational aid to deserving candidates and also provide other social services.

The NGO lacked digital foot print. We needed a platform where we could tell about our past and activities planned in the future. We also wanted to provide a platform for upcoming artists and writers.

The team showed high level of professionalism. Being a non tech NGO, it was difficult to get all stakeholders onboard. The team showed immense flexibility to understand the requirements and meet them through smart design approaches.

A bit more on Business Domain knowledge on specific processes of how an NGO works. Not exactly a common skill but would have been great.

We commissioned Iriana to develop the version for native IOs as we do nit have IOs developers. They work in coordination with our CTO.

What were your goals for this project?

It was the first version of the application so we had no concrete challenges beyond a stable and robust App.

I found the company through Google search and we asked for a commercial proposal after a videoconference.

The project consisted of the development of the application (IO version). We provide the UX adapted from the Android version to which Adriana made some adjustments. The project was developed in two phases, an initial version and, months later, a second version in which main and some secondary features were incorporated.

The team had a project manager and a senior IOs developer.

Not yet.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The communication with both the project manager and the developer was good and we perceived a willingness to serve and resolve the small conflicts that always arise.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We always perceive good predisposition and loyalty toward the project in the negotiation of small conflicts.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We would like more ability to prioritize our project when we require it, although we understand that we are a small project. For some incomprehensible reason, it took much longer than expected to solve a concrete development problem.
