What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We don't have any metrics yet because we haven't gone public. However, around 120 people in our beta testing group have used our app and provided feedback, which has been positive so far. Overall, the quality of Hybrid Mediaworks' work has met our expectations.

Hybrid Mediaworks has delivered on time and on budget, and they communicate well with us. We use Slack to communicate.

I wanted to improve the impact of my business on my customers. I work in the digital industry and wanted to have a better digital look.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Hybrid Mediaworks created my e-commerce store using Shopify and WordPress. The team created the design layout and worked on my inventory management, including listing over 1,000 products with different categories. My goal was to increase my business' productivity. 

Hybrid Mediaworks did research and presented it with design options and their expected impact. I discussed design options with my company's stakeholders and came back with a decision. Hybrid Mediaworks offered design advice, comparing it with other businesses in my industry since I wasn't aware of my market's trends. Hybrid Mediaworks created an SEO strategy and chose keywords based on the information I provided.

I initially contacted Hybrid Mediaworks' sales and marketing team and then worked with project managers when we made the proposal. We also worked with web developers.

The initial quotation was around $50,000–$60,000, and I spent close to $60,000 in monthly payments.

We engaged Hybrid Mediaworks between February–June 2023.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I was a beginner in this field, and Hybrid Mediaworks helped me realize that the value of what I paid could bring out a return. Hybrid Mediaworks was responsible for the end-to-end process and exceeded my expected ROI. I worked with freelancers before working with Hybrid Mediaworks, and the cost was lower, but I wasn't satisfied with the results. To me, success relied on obtaining profits for my investments. 

Hybrid Mediaworks' work had a huge impact on my business and helped me differentiate myself from my competitors. I was amazed by the profits I made since I started my business in 2021. The team's SEO work enhanced my sales. 

How did Hybrid Mediaworks perform from a project management standpoint?

Hybrid Mediaworks told me the project would take around four months, and the team met that. After that time, the team kept in contact with me to offer learning support free of cost. We used Slack to communicate through an internal channel the team created with all 5–6 teammates involved in the project. Every teammate posted progress on their work, and we had weekly meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Hybrid Mediaworks' management was impressive. I talked 2–3 times with Mirza (Founder & CEO), who intervened to clarify the project. He made me feel confident in the project's budget and assured me they'd meet deadlines. Mirza also offered me support after the engagement concluded and told me our Slack channel would stay open. I was impressed that the company's CEO met with me since I had rarely seen it before working with other companies.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't have any areas for improvement to highlight in Hybrid Mediaworks.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

I definitely suggest working with Hybrid Mediaworks to other people in my industry. Hybrid Mediaworks is very efficient and delivers work on time. According to my research, they get the best services at the best quote. The team is very professional and provides logical answers. 

In the beginning, I had many questions about profit returns and percentages since the engagement was for 4–5 months. The team responded to all my questions at a satisfactory level. I suggest working with them and staying working with them.

I’m the founder of a small startup. We outsource projects from the US to Southeast Asia, including Pakistan. We haven’t been in the market for long.

We initially were going to provide data marketing services for an end client. We saw their website and told them they had to adjust some things to market it. They asked us if we knew someone who could do the project.

Since we usually outsource marketing, social media, and PPC services, development wasn’t our niche. We needed someone to outsource the development to them.

What was the scope of their involvement?

This was our second project with Hybrid Mediaworks. Initially, it was a small project; the end client just wanted to make a few changes to their WordPress website.

When we came to Hybrid Mediaworks, the client had a design and provided a Figma file showing how they wanted the website to look. Additionally, they had clear documentation about what Hybrid Mediaworks had to do in the next 2–3, so everything was structured.

At some point, Hybrid Mediaworks asked why the client had a separate website and education portal. They suggested merging them and making a new, consistent design that could be present in everything.

They redesigned the whole education portal, integrated it with the website, and redesigned the site.

What is the team composition?

We worked with six people in total: Kashif (Program & Project Manager), my old friend Naveed (Backend Developer), another backend developer, two frontend developers, and a designer.

How did you come to work with Hybrid Mediaworks?

We went into LinkedIn and posted that we needed someone for this project. Then, we met with Naveed, a developer we had previously worked with. He said they could do it, so we agreed and got on a call with them.

How much have you invested with them?

The initial estimation was around $3,400 when we only changed the website and added a few things. When they redesigned the whole website, it came to about $25,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began the project around August 2023, and they completed it in February 2024.

The end client was satisfied with the results. We’re currently running their new campaigns, and everything is going well. It was initially a short project but good ideas from them and useful suggestions turned it into a year long partnership

Both deliveries were on point and within budget. Everything went smoothly; we didn’t have any hiccups.

I’d love to work with Kashif again. He was great at managing the project and reporting everything in his communications. We didn’t have to tell him anything twice; he was just perfect.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Sometimes developers can’t appropriately portray their ideas when they work with South Asian markets because there are many communication gaps. One good thing about Hybrid Mediaworks was that the developers portrayed their ideas well. In particular, Kashif was amazing. I feel like their process is almost perfect

Are there any areas they could improve?

I didn’t see any room for improvement.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be open to their ideas; Hybrid Mediaworks sometimes presents excellent ideas. We just oversaw them; they thought from the developer’s point of view, so it helped if we considered what they suggested. They can be the best partner you will make

I engaged Hybrid Mediaworks to migrate a project from myriad Excel sheets to a fully-functional online app experience. This included an attractive and user-friendly UI, a robust back-end to process thousands of variables and inputs, and rigid database management to ensure data fidelity.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Hybrid Mediaworks took my idea and helped ideate a solution to port into an accessible hosted application. We Successfully transferred the full algorithm to the servers, where Users could login and access our solution in a user-friendly UI. Database updates were made easy through in-app Admin panels to simplify access and routine maintenance.

Hybrid Mediaworks managed a number of tools, from Jira Boards to slack communications, to manage our project and maintain timelines. They were very responsive every time I reached out, with responses typically coming with minutes and nearly always within an hour. Their responsiveness and willingness to work with their client is certainly best in class.

I’m the CTO of a holistic healthcare platform. I've been with this company for about four years, but before working with them (and during my first years with them), I provided technical support to multiple companies and agencies in the US.

After completing some tenure with those agencies, I shifted my focus and found in my current company a good product. Since then, I've contributed with technical knowledge for the development of this product to try to produce something that meets the requirements of both clients and our CEO.

What challenge were you trying to address with Hybrid Mediaworks?

We were building our healthcare application to connect practitioners with patients for different kinds of services related to their diseases. To build this platform, we were looking for development support.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Hybrid Mediaworks helped us develop our entire platform from scratch within a year and a half. After hiring them, the first step was defining the platform's tech stack and how we would move forward. They pitched us an agile development method to address this project.

After the discovery work, Hybrid Mediaworks created the platform's design. The design process included defining the layouts. At the time, we had no idea how the design would look because we had different preferences internally. Still, their team did a tremendous job of turning our ideas into reality. Once we approved the design, they started developing the app.

Our platform currently exists only as a web app. Building a mobile app is still under consideration, but we're looking for funds to develop that product. As for the tech stack, Hybrid Mediaworks used Figma for the designs and Laravel, PHP, and React for the development. Additionally, they used AWS on the server side and Git for version control.

What is the team composition?

We worked with around five teammates from Hybrid Mediaworks, including a designer, a frontend developer, two backend developers, a project manager, and a QA engineer.

How did you come to work with Hybrid Mediaworks?

I found Hybrid Mediaworks through a mutual friend. When I joined my company, we discussed this platform and decided to take it to the next level. To do so, we required someone to help us build it, so my friend introduced me to the owner of Hybrid Mediaworks.

We had a call with their team and discussed the whole platform with them, detailing what we needed. We also provided Hybrid Mediaworks with all the previous documents we had created for this platform, as well as with all our requirements. The owner provided us with great feedback, and he seemed very confident about building this product, so we hired them.

How much have you invested with them?

We initially agreed on a budget of around $25,000. However, we eventually developed more features and made some enhancements. In total, we invested around $40,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together on this project from September 2022–November 2023.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Hybrid Mediaworks became a company we could rely on. To date, we can still ask for fixes or changes, and they do them at no cost. As for the impact of this product, we're a startup that's still growing. Currently, we're building a great sales team to sell this product in the market.

How did Hybrid Mediaworks perform from a project management standpoint?

We followed an agile development style, which included weekly calls. While we were approaching the deadline, Hybrid Mediaworks sped up the process, and we started meeting them on a regular basis as well. Throughout the engagement, Hybrid Mediaworks used Jira to create specific tickets and set up sprint cycles to let us know the plan for each sprint.

At all times, the sprint cycles were very clear, so whenever we jumped on a call with them, they were able to provide all the details on time and clearly. There were some instances when things ran longer than expected, but they communicated very well about those challenges. Being a technical officer, I also understood how development worked, so I knew that those delays were normal. Overall, they did an amazing job regarding project management.

In addition to using Jira for project management, Hybrid Mediaworks used Slack for swift communication, as well as email and Zoom for regular communication and meetings.

I would like to give a shout-out to the whole Hybrid Mediaworks team. This project required a team effort, and they were all very responsive, reliable, and worked to high standards.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Hybrid Mediaworks' work quality and skills were up to the mark, and their communication was outstanding. They took this project very seriously.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Something that Hybrid Mediaworks could improve on moving forward is trying to cut down development time. If they estimate a project takes six months of development work, maybe they can try to finish it in five months. Their clients are investing money with them, and whenever someone invests money in a product, they want it to be done quickly.

That said, I also understand that completing a development project earlier than estimated is nearly impossible. If a project usually takes six months, asking a team to deliver it in four or five months would require putting more resources into it. In fact, Hybrid Mediaworks assigned more resources to the project at times without charging a single additional penny.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Ensure that you document and have clear requirements for your project. If you know what you want, Hybrid Mediaworks will deliver according to your expectations.

I'm an executive at Lets Learn Quran. We provide Quran education for kids who don't have access to tutors in the US — that's how we fill that gap. We've been in business for five years.

We needed help developing our website. We're in a very competitive market, so we wanted to make sure that our web traffic was truly converting. Otherwise, we would be losing customers. Therefore, I needed to find an agency that could help me with the kind of work I was looking for. I started this project with a freelancer, but it was really hard for me to trust them, so I started looking for an agency.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Hybrid Mediaworks designed and developed our website. First, they created the UI/UX. Me and my team got to make some changes to their designs until we were satisfied. Once the design work was finalized, they developed the website for us. The team was in charge of everything, from creating content and providing domain suggestions to doing the design and development.

Hybrid Mediaworks also helped us a lot with the market research regarding our audience. They searched everything they needed to know about the target audience, including their age, demographics, and locations. Based on their findings, they came up with the designs and the content strategy. Once they completed the website, they trained someone from my team on how to manage it.

Throughout the project, we were running a lot of ads on Google and Facebook, so Hybrid Mediaworks also helped us set up the landing pages for our campaigns. Our campaigns included A/B testing, so they were involved in creating the different landing pages for those as well.

Hybrid Mediaworks' team included a content writer, a designer, and a developer, and Mirza (Founder & CEO) was also involved in the project. During the onboarding process, Mirza stepped in and introduced himself, which I really liked. He was involved for a little while and answered all my concerns. After that, he assigned some teammates to the different parts of the project.

I had been looking for companies online. However, doing this was a bit difficult for me because I find recommendations more valuable. A friend of mine already knew about Hybrid Mediaworks, so he recommended them. Thus, I looked at their work, and it all seemed to be very professional and similar to what I needed, so I contacted them.

Mirza was really good at understanding the requirements. Additionally, they had a vast portfolio to show and convince me. Their past projects were in line with what I was looking for — that's why I hired them.

Hybrid Mediaworks added a lot of value to the project. As mentioned, I already had a team working on my ad campaigns, but they had limitations regarding website design and development. My team was the one that pushed me to find a local agency to help us out. Within a few weeks of hiring Hybrid Mediaworks, we achieved what we wanted to achieve with our ad campaigns. The results were very clear to us.

How did Hybrid Mediaworks perform from a project management standpoint?

The best thing about Hybrid Mediaworks was that they were open for virtual meetings and offered in-person meetings as well. This approach was very good for me, as Hybrid Mediaworks was very flexible to however we wanted to work. Overall, their project management was amazing.

I was very impressed with Mirza and how he managed his entire team. He assigned the right people to the project.

What did you find most impressive about them?

A great thing was that I didn't have to provide a lot of documentation. My staff consists mostly of teachers, so we don't know much about web design. Still, Hybrid Mediaworks brought everyone needed on board — it was like a one-stop solution for us. They did all the heavy lifting for us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

As everyone else would like, a better cost would have been great. Other than that, everything was good. Even Hybrid Mediaworks' cost was market-competitive. I received other quotes, and they were quite similar. Still, when I went with them, I wasn't looking for a discount. I was looking for someone who could get the job done according to what my team was looking for.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Get the project done with them. Once the project is done, negotiate a good price for a maintenance retainer with them because then the product will be more valuable in the long run. I wish I had done the same thing, but I didn't go that route because I had someone in my team already capable of managing the website. However, I paid the price because my teammate was learning.
