I’m the director of marketing & corporate social responsibility for Lightshade Labs. We are a multi-location dispensary in Colorado.

What challenge were you trying to address with Hybrid Marketing Co?

We needed an agency to help us with marketing and advertising in a very difficult industry.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They help with brand management, including print advertising design & management, in-store collateral, retail store design and management, merchandise purchasing & design, and maintenance and execution of digital design. They also provide social media support and create custom content. 

Additionally, they handle reputation management efforts. All local and organic SEO campaigns are run by them, along with email marketing and digital advertising. and merchandise purchasing & design. They handle all of the design work themselves.

How did you come to work with Hybrid Marketing Co?

We’ve known some of the members of their team for a long time. They have a lot of experience in this industry and with regulatory management, so we chose them. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent between $250,000 - $500,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working with them in November 2017 and our relationship is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

They strongly contributed to our 25% increase in revenue last year. We’ve seen an increase year-over-year (YoY). In 2019, organic search traffic increased by 240%, and Google maps location views increased almost 5x from the year before. 

Their ability to be consistent in our brand image helps raise our visibility and let us be well-known, so that’s immeasurable. They’re so dialed in on what we need, so we don’t have to look elsewhere for any services.

How did Hybrid Marketing Co perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re fantastic at managing the work. They’re willing to jump on anything asked of them. For example, I asked for a few of them to take a last-minute trip to take pictures, and they easily complied. We also have weekly meetings. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have a uniquely balanced team with an expert in every area of marketing and advertising. From writing content to creative street art, they have the skills. They are a family amongst themselves and have become part of our family here. Their feel for what we’re trying to accomplish is great. They are all invested in our project.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I have no suggestions.

They are consummate professionals who will understand your bandwidth, ensure compliance with city and state requirements, and take your company where you want it to go.
