Having operated for over two decades, Horner Consulting & Publishing LLC possesses a wealth of experience and knowledge in the fields of business and technology. We have encountered a variety of challenges and developed effective solutions over the years. Some examples include:

• We worked with one non-profit organization to set up their very first computer lab. They were including the use of computers in their educational programs. This project entailed assembling and testing donated PC computers. The computers received were old and at times arrived missing components. Our challenge was to catalog the working systems and repair those that were not working.
• We created an automated process to digitally match purchase orders with their accompanying invoices and receipt documents. This process was originally done manually. The challenge was to receive the data contained in the three documents, store the information, and create an application to perform the matching and produce an audit of the process. The new process saved time and performed the matching with a higher degree of accuracy than before.
• We wrote a series of applications to convert reports into PDF or webpage documents for archival purposes. The project began with the goal of simply archiving reports prior to printing them. A report server was purchased, and scripts were written to perform the archiving. It was learned that they had stopped printing the reports altogether. They used the reports stored on the report server instead.
