I'm the CEO and co-founder of Blokko, a global payment orchestrator that moves value from points of origin (wallets) to points of settlement (merchants). We enable payments in stablecoins, crypto, and international real-time payments.

What challenge were you trying to address with Hazen Technologies Inc.?

We needed a custom geolocation platform that would identify the location of the merchants we were onboarding at Blokko. This solution would be used by consumers locating merchants that would accept alternative payments.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Hazen Technologies Inc. handled the full project, including the map interface (they gave us recommendations on which vendors to select), merchant database (they defined the DB structure), and user authentication (how users would have access to the portal). They designed the solution, developed the code, tested the solution, and ultimately delivered it to Blokko.

Hazen Technologies Inc. provided a detailed plan with key milestones and deliverables. They tracked progress on a weekly basis. We followed the project plan as defined, and they met all of the deliverables and timelines. The project was delivered as specified.Customers loved the portal and saw it as a competitive advantage. Consumers also liked its use case of helping them find merchants that accept the various alternative payment methods. The merchant location portal was very well received and is used by our sales team as a selling advantage for Blokko when pitching to new customers. Merchants also liked the fact that we promoted their stores to consumers looking for particular product categories.

They were very professional. Hazen Technologies Inc. spent time fully understanding our requirements and then provided a detailed analysis of what would be done along with timelines and a pricing model. The personal approach of working with Hazen Technologies Inc. was impressive. The technical team was very skilled in delivering the solution. They pulled in experts to address the various components of the project, including UI, database, and map interface.
