What challenge were you trying to address with Hustle Free Solutions?

We needed to build a website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Hustle Free designed and developed our website, and they’re continuing to update it yearly. They’ve also done some digital marketing for us.

The website was done as a combination of both our ideas. We wrote content and Hustle Free contributed with pictures and video.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with a designer, a developer, and a content manager from their team, and we have one main point of contact.

How did you come to work with Hustle Free Solutions?

We got a referral from a tour guide that had made his website using Hustle Free.

How much have you invested with them?

I believe the initial development cost $650.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Hustle Free around two years ago.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The design part was a bit of a challenge, and we had some delays, but the collaboration with Hustle Free is going great as of late. People have complimented our website for its design and content.

How did Hustle Free Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve kept us informed at each step of the way. We had some delays in the beginning, but things have gotten better as we’ve gone on. We communicate via email and phone.

They’re very collaborative.

Please describe your company and your position there.

We are a Community Based Organisation based in Uganda dealing in women's social-economic transformation. We also deal with child and youth empowerment.

For what projects/services did your company hire Hustle Free Solutions?

We hired them to design a good website that would illustrate our work.

What were your goals for this project?

Our primary goal designing a user-friendly website that would illustrate our project activities globally and also help us to raise funding from external donors.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We followed our procurement guidelines, requested quotations from three web design companies, and finally settled with Hustle Free because it met our requirements.

Describe the project in detail.

After our procurement committee had settled with Hustle Free, we sent them an invite for a meeting on how the process would be run. They responded positively and in the first meeting, we shared our expectations of the website including the colors, the fonts, and the outlook among others.

The company went ahead and designed the first outlook and thereafter sent us a link to see how the work looked like. We gave them our feedback which was incorporated in the following versions. The process went on like that with sharing progress until when the final version was developed. The payment was 70% before starting the work and 30% after completion.

What was the team composition?

We mainly dealt with the project lead who was our key contact person.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The website was well developed far way beyond our expectations. Our team was really excited about the website.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was smooth with no major challenges. Key deadlines were met and all agreed details were incorporated.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The company is really committed to customer satisfaction. They kept on advising us and brought up creative ideas which made our website more professional and attractive.

They are respectful of deadlines and constantly give updates on all developments. Their charges are equally fair given the current economic hardships in Uganda.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Surely, the company delivered beyond our expectations.
