Please describe your company and your position there.

Edwina Curiel the Care Coordinator in charge of the Plenna 360 project and Diego Cifuentes the Head of Tech in Plenna. Plenna is a FemTech that wants to change how women’s health is addressed by providing unique, affordable and comprehensive in-person and virtual care to middle income women in Mexico.

For what projects/services did your company hire Hanova Consulting, and what were your goals?

We needed a software solution to store, visualize and edit the medical and personal information from our patients in order to offer a much more customized experience than the one provided by third-party EHR solutions on the market

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We found them through a referral, and determined they were tailored to our needs. Because the project was time sensitive and high priority, we needed a partner that could deliver.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

By using our current tech stack, Hanova helped us to model a whole new database to store the medical and personal information in a secure way. After that, they helped us create profiles to access, visualize and edit this information securely. This implementation was done using Airtable as the main Database and Automation integrator. Finally, they helped us by designing a user-centric UI for our medical team to find better insights.

We worked with the three Consulting Partners.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Their deliverables are very professional and reliable for our daily operation. The specific deliverables in this case were the source code of the integrations between the Database and the external services, the database itself and many different user interfaces with a great design and usability. Their technical and business documentation is great, easy to read and understand, even without a technical background.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Their project management met all our expectations. We had access to their progress using agile frameworks, they regularly met deadlines and never had setbacks. We communicated through Zoom, Asana and Slack.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We had great communication, their project management simplified the way we worked, and the direct access they gave us led to a great outcome.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Because of the nature of this project, one of our constraints was to use our current tech stack. This may have caused an initial learning curve of just a few days, but once they understood the whole project it was really easy for them to use the stack.
