Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the head of client engagement at Lygon, a company digitizing the bank guarantee processes via blockchain technology in Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore. 

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Hamma Digital?

We were building client engagement and sales functionalities and needed assistance managing HubSpot, our CRM.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Hamma Digital has programmed HubSpot so it serves as our ticketing system, sales and client engagement pipeline, and partner referral channel. Their embedded team in our company has helped us develop a briefing for each project. Hamma Digital creates forms and templates through HubSpot, some of which are used as partnership referrals. 

We have our own internal web development team, but occasionally they reach out to Hamma Digital for contributions to their projects. Specifically, whenever we need to develop subdomains, our development team reaches out to Hamma Digital for input. 

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with three teammates from Hamma Digital who come into our office and work with us daily. In addition to those teammates, we’ve worked with a scrum master. 

How did you come to work with Hamma Digital?

When I chose HubSpot as our CRM, HubSpot’s team referred Hamma Digital to me. I interviewed their team and realized that they could bring a lot of small-business focus and expertise to the project. They seemed like a good partner, so I hired them. 

How much have you invested with them?

I’ve invested around $150,000 AUD (approximately $112,000 USD) with Hamma Digital. 

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement with Hamma Digital began in June 2021, and it’s ongoing. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Hamma Digital has been integral to us getting customers onboard. Hamma Digital has worked quickly to execute and build all the pipelines we needed — they’ve been so successful that we’re keeping them on retainer.  

How did Hamma Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

Hamma Digital always goes above and beyond — they always meet deadlines. They occasionally work over our contracted time to ensure they deliver what we need. We use Monday.com to manage the project, and Hamma Digital ensured it was always up-to-date. We also use HubSpot. 

Hamma Digital works in an agile working environment — I work as the decision-maker, but Hamma Digital’s scrum master oversees a lot of the work. We’ve completed about eight sprints. We've worked together in person before, but when we were in lockdown during COVID-19, we moved over to Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Hamma Digital really cares about our success and achieving our goals. Their team is nimble, anticipating project changes and adapting to them. Whenever we need help, Hamma Digital is there to handle projects themselves or will bring in outside help from their network.  

Are there any areas they could improve?

I have nothing for Hamma Digital to improve. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I’d advise customers to listen to project advice from Hamma Digital’s team. They can provide project direction and help set clear expectations for a project. Forming a good partnership with Hamma Digital means allowing them to lead part of the project while leading the team Hamma Digital brings on board.
