Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the director of ForeverCare, a company that provides residential homes and supported living properties for children and teenagers ages 7–18. I’m also the registered manager for the organization’s supported landing page.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Halson Tech?

We hired Halson Tech to update our website to reflect our company’s growth and expansion. We were looking to double in size, but we couldn’t do that with our existing website. Our goal was to have a site that would help us recruit new talent and stay on time with work.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Halson Tech has developed our site from scratch. I’ve provided the written content since they didn’t know our company’s background.

The new site features a button at the top right corner that leads to the job application page. Applicants can fill out a form with their contact information and history, and we receive those applications in our work email. Another feature Halson Tech has added to the site is a page with photos of our 15 members, and when users click on each one, they can read more information about each teammate. 

Halson Tech completed most of the work in 5–6 weeks, and we’re still working on minor changes. They also provide us with web hosting and maintenance services.

What is the team composition?

I’ve worked with Halson Tech’s two directors.

How did you come to work with Halson Tech?

Halson Tech was referred to me by a colleague. I chose them for their previous work and competitive prices; they were £3,000–£4,000 (approximately $3,700–$4,900 USD) cheaper than other options. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around £1,800 (approximately $2,000 USD) with Halson Tech.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Halson Tech in October 2022, and our partnership is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We've started to receive job applications through the website Halson Tech has developed. In the past, we would receive applications through Indeed, but in the last five days, we’ve received 6–7 applications on the website. 

Moreover, Halson Tech has made changes whenever I’ve asked. I’m happy with our new site; it reflects our company’s ambition.

How did Halson Tech perform from a project management standpoint?

Halson Tech has met all their deadlines; if we give them a timeline, they stick to it. They’re attentive and responsive, and we communicate through phone calls, emails, WhatsApp, and Google Meet. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m most impressed with Halson Tech’s directors. They’re knowledgeable and personable when it comes to web development. Moreover, they go above and beyond and send me emails after work hours, showing that they’re working on the website. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything for Halson Tech to improve.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be prepared when you start working with Halson Tech; you need to have a vision of what you want your website to look like. They know what they’re talking about, and if you come prepared, they’ll do it for you. Additionally, I recommend you listen to what they offer because they’re experts.
