I am the founder and creative director at a Web Design and Development agency.

For what projects/services did your company hire The Grey Parrots, and what were your goals?

We had successfully developed a number of customisations to their WooCommerce Marketplace Plugin but the client required some advanced customisation. We approached The Grey Parrots, as they are the authors of the plugin, to work together to develop the customisations.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

It was a very easy decision as they are the authors of the plug-in.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

The scope of work continues to be the customization of their plug-in. Tasks have included:

Improving the onboarding process for each Seller
A per product shipping rate for domestic and international shipments
All email notifications
Seller dashboard modifications and optimizations, especially on mobile
Automated seller review request two weeks after the order has shipped

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We have worked closely with Neha, who is our point of contact, and one or two of their developers.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We are incredibly happy with the results. All of our designs and functionality requests have been implemented exactly how we wanted.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Communication has been excellent. Neha setup and manages the JIRA support portal where all of our requested are organised. All development updates are synced with our GIT Repository and communication is on a daily basis via Slack.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They have been able to complete all of the custom development requests without any issues. Everything we have requested has been delivered.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nope.
