Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Over the years, we accumulated a closet full of IT equipment, much of which became unused or was nearing end of life. We also recently migrated some services to a remote server. Our objective was to replace all aging equipment with modern equipment that is sized to our current needs. We also wanted to remove all unused or out of date equipment from our IT closet. 

Great Lakes Computer Corporation was able to consolidate all services into a single piece of server equipment which not only improved performance, but allowed us to remove 5+ aging servers along with other miscellaneous equipment. We also installed a new UPS which protects all remaining equipment. The end result is overall increased performance and protection, all housed in a highly organized IT closet.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our network is now stable. We used to experience downtime due to server issues, which is no longer an issue. Our building is also prone to power interuptions, which we are now better protected and equipped to minimize issues.
