    Our Story

    Graphek was founded in 2013 by two Digital Media students in Bremen — a designer and a developer. That combination still defines us: we don't separate design from engineering. Every project is custom-built, no templates, no shortcuts. We've stayed small on purpose so senior people stay hands-on. Based at Tabakquartier Bremen, we build websites, brands, and digital products for clients who value craft over quick fixes. Twelve years in, most of our clients are still with us.

From there, we put together a detailed proposal including scope, timeline, and a transparent cost breakdown — no hidden fees. Once approved, we kick off with a strategy workshop where we align on design direction, content structure, and key milestones. You'll get a dedicated point of contact throughout, and we work in short feedback cycles so you're never in the dark about progress.

    We keep it simple and direct. Every client gets a shared project board where tasks, timelines, and deliverables are tracked in real time — no status meetings just for the sake of it. We communicate via email or video call depending on your preference, with regular check-ins at key milestones. For ongoing maintenance clients, we send monthly reports covering uptime, security updates, and performance metrics. Our rule: you should never have to chase us for an update.

    We're currently focused on three areas: custom WordPress websites for mid-sized businesses looking to move beyond template solutions, UI/UX redesigns for companies whose digital presence no longer matches their brand ambition, and ongoing WordPress maintenance partnerships for teams that need reliable technical support without hiring in-house. We're especially interested in projects where design and development need to work closely together — think product configurators, interactive dashboards, or complex multi-language setups. We're selective about what we take on because we want to do great work, not just more work.

    It depends on the scope. A corporate website typically takes 6–10 weeks from kickoff to launch. A full rebrand with website redesign runs 10–14 weeks. Smaller projects like landing pages or design sprints can be done in 2–3 weeks. For maintenance clients, we respond to critical issues within 24 hours and handle routine requests within 2–3 business days. We always agree on a realistic timeline upfront — we'd rather set honest expectations than overpromise and underdeliver.

    We typically work with 3–5 active projects simultaneously. We intentionally limit our capacity to make sure every client gets senior-level attention — not a junior handed a brief. If we're fully booked, we'll be upfront about it and offer a realistic start date rather than stretching ourselves thin. Quality over volume, always.
