Please describe your company and your position there.

theCodery delivers professional services to companies to implement Salesforce for their own internal use and/or build products for the Salesforce AppExchange. I am one of the company's founders and Managing Partner of Executive Operations and Strategy.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Gotoinc, and what were your goals?

We needed a MUCH better website for our company, and we did not have capacity internally (or the skill set for WordPress) to build this. Additionally, we needed additional capacity for UX designs for our Salesforce application builds.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I found Gotoinc through a referral from a highly trusted business colleague who had worked with them before. We vetted Anton and his team aggressively, looking at their portfolio and skill set. We decided on Gotoinc because they were highly responsive, skilled, and cost-effective for our needs.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Gotoinc delivered a fantastic website that represents our professional brand well. We've seen a massive boost in traffic from our prior version, and increase of nearly 10x the amount of visits this month compared to months prior. For the Salesforce designs, we saw incredibly fast, high quality mockups turned around within 24-48 hours, which we were able to use to iterate on and collect feedback from clients. For five clients, these have now turned into usable designs that we have built and are building for our clients.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

The project manager supervised the day-to-day management of the project, always kept requirements up-to-date, ensured that deliverables match to and satisfy our needs, and did everything they could to keep cooperation smooth. I’m absolutely satisfied with the quality, speed of delivery, their communication and cooperation skills.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

This company is based in Ukraine. We started our engagement prior to the Russian invasion, and even then, they were highly responsive, communicative, skilled, professional, courteous, and kind. When Russia started invading Ukraine, they continued to work diligently for us, even while their offices and homes were being bombarded by bombings.

It is truly amazing and awe-inspiring to see what these incredible humans have done for us in the midst of a crisis, where they continued to deliver, despite all that was happening around them.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Candidly, they have done nothing but fantastic work for us. This is a top notch services firm - we will be working with them for a very long time.

We hired Gotoinc to handle our outsourced development needs.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Gotoinc has worked with us on the project management and delivery of a software platform. They've built the platform from scratch using Ruby on Rails (Rails), and they've incorporated a frontend interface and admin interface. We continue to work with their team.

What is the team composition?

A project manager, front- and backend developer, and designer are working on our project.

How did you come to work with Gotoinc?

We found them based on reviews, feedback, and conversations. Overall, they were a great team.

We’ve spent over $150,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working with them in April 2020, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Our partnership with Gotoinc has been great. In fact, everybody has been really happy with the product.

How did Gotoinc perform from a project management standpoint?

They have a top-notch project management process — they’re the best we've ever worked with. We have daily or weekly calls, and they’re available in Slack pretty much all the time.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re professional and thoughtful.
