OMNILINK has been operating in the telecommunication network equipment market since 2009. The main customers are telecom operators and Internet service providers.
At the beginning of its development, the company focused on a wide range of products, where the site primarily solved the problem of an assortment presenter, striving to meet customer demand in all directions - from large nodes (backbone routers, switches) to small paraphernalia (patch cords, cables).
The main task was to demonstrate the wide range of supplied products in the main directions and give their description and characteristics so that the customer could choose the optimal solution. Today the company has won the trust of all key players in the telecom market.
Due to the constant personal interaction of the company's sales managers with customers and the individually developed preparation of prices and offers for clients, the function of the site as a product catalog has disappeared today. The company has grown from a supplier of goods (equipment) to a supplier of solutions.
At the same time, the need arose to transform the site, placing a key emphasis on the company's services, which today consist in a qualified selection of "hardware" (completeness of the order; selection of the most optimal positions in terms of price and functionality), which allows customers not only to purchase a pool of goods, but to get a thoughtful and planned combination devices for a particular task.
And the task is to transform the catalog in its pure form into a related equipment pick-up site based on the user's task.

Therefore, we needed the contractor to first develop a visual style for us, including refreshing the key elements of the identity. After that, the design, making layout and programming of the site based on the WordPress constructor, and preparation for SEO further promotion.

All control over the project and the role of our liaison in communication on the project was carried out by the project manager.
We knew that part of the team was working on outsourcing, but given the first stages of communication and the quality of coordination of interaction, this did not have a fundamental task. Since we received the result within the agreed time frame, with high-quality implementations, sometimes exceeding our expectations.

The main goal of the site was to refresh the external image of the company and make a convenient tool for finding complex technological solutions for our customers. Based on the feedback we received in the first few months after launch, this is exactly what we were able to achieve. We consider this a merit of the Goodface team.

And then in several days they got to us a prototype. And from those day we had started active phase of the creation our future product. After that we created and approved plan of the development based on prototype. During more than 2 months we had weekly meetings with demo new pages and design elements. When we made some remarks - on the next iteration we got next part of design and improvements of previous part. Fantastic result! We finished all iterations according to plan. It was the coordinated work of two teams.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am a Chief Financial Officer at construction company headquartered in Ukraine. Our company has about 30+ employees.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire Goodface agency?
We didn't have a website and we decided to invest in a new website for our company. We don’t have any in-house engineers, so we needed to outsource the entire redesign and rebuild. The design part made by Goodface agency.
What were your goals for this project?
We wanted to present our company and have more clients. So we set them such tasks: develop a clear, convenient, concise and stylish design.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor?
From many companies we chose the Goodface agency. Our visions in design the same. The Goodface agency proposed exactly what we needed.
Describe the project in detail.
We had a series of discovery meetings to discuss our goals and objectives. Goodface agency conducted an analysis of industry competitors and the trends of the niche. They plunged into our working atmosphere, and found out how we live, how our target audience thinks, what is important for them and what is not. The obtained information helped to develop an understandable and convenient site structure.
At the second stage, we started developing a visual style, which had determined the visual part of the future site (colors, fonts, etc). When we approve the style, they started to create the design of all pages of the future website. At the same time, they developed a detailed technical task for programmers.
During all the work on the project, as well as after transferring it to programmers for development, they prompted, advised, helped us. When the frontend part was finished, they did the design QA and shared a list of recommendations for improvement.
What was the team composition?
We worked closely with owner and account manager. But I was made aware that there were 2 designers and Art director. They are professionals and use modern tools (figma, invision, etc).
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The first polls of our customers and partners showed that everyone likes the site design. Goodface designers had done amazing job. They had chosen a style that inspires customers' trust in our company at a glance.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
They are real professionals. It was easy and pleasant to work with them. It’s good when the performer understands you. We had many meets, also we talked through Telegram and Skype, using webcams.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
During all the work on the project, they were advising us. Goodface conveyed the importance of UX. They had written extended technical task for programmers because we haven’t competencies in this. Also, they did the design QA after the frontend part was finished, for programmers implemented all ideas correctly.
Are there any areas for improvement?
The work progressed quickly without any difficulty. Everything was done on time and qualitatively.

Please describe your company and your position there.
The best restaurant of the modern Ukrainian cuisine and art space in the center of the capital - BARVY. Founded in 2017. I am the Head Manager of the restaurant.

For what projects/services did your company hire Goodface agency?
We hired a GoodFace agency to develop our personal website.
What were your goals for this project?
The main goal of our joint project with Goodface is to create the best website that emphasizes the status of our restaurant and is as informative and pleasant as possible.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor?
We held a series of meetings with leading website developers in Kiev, listened to each candidate, but the Goodface approach was the most convincing and professional. They were able to meet our requirements and offered several quality ideas.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
After we chose Goodface to design our site, they provided an action plan that we began to follow. First, a meeting was scheduled at which we finalized the goals and values of the project. Further, the company’s employees began developing the site, filling it with content, design decisions and the like. Every two weeks we received a trial version of the site for testing it. After that, we formed a feedback and sent it by colleagues from Goodface to correct errors and improve the site.I would like to note the responsiveness of the company employees, as well as their efficiency in correcting errors.
What was the team composition?
A team of 7 people led by the Project Manager worked on our project. Most often they contacted through PM, discussed all our ideas with him, always received professional advice, which helped to make the right choice.Working with the team was easy and without any problems.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
Thanks to our project with Goodface, we received an organic increase in guests in the restaurant, as we started to place all our activities / events on the main page of the site, which became much more convenient for people. And also, thanks to the correct recommendations from the Goodface team, we finally translated our entire page into English, which allowed us to attract foreign audiences / guests of the capital.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
Project management takes place directly through PM. We communicate directly with the help of various messengers, where we describe the tasks that need to be implemented. I want to mark responsiveness and maximum execution speed, if the situation requires it.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The biggest feature of this company is that they find a personal approach to each client, regardless of the volume and complexity of the project. And also we must not forget about the professionalism of employees!
Are there any areas for improvement?
On the professional side, no. Our cooperation did not cause us any inconvenience.
