We needed GIMMIR to create an app and a central management system (CMS) for us.

What was the scope of their involvement?

GIMMIR has delivered a full rebuild of both the UN1T app and CMS. This includes a completely new mobile app rebuilt from scratch with modern architecture, a multi-studio CMS platform with scheduling, bookings, member management, analytics, and TV screen management. The team has also delivered a full backend API with 80+ endpoints, Stripe Connect marketplace integration, an exercise library with video hosting, a phase-based training program builder, and role-based access control for all user types.Overall, it’s a fully integrated ecosystem designed to replace Glofox and give UN1T full ownership and control of our tech stack.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

GIMMIR has delivered a fully rebuilt UN1T app that is now production-ready, stable, and faster than our previous platform. They’ve also delivered a new multi-studio CMS that consolidates scheduling, bookings, members, payments, and analytics into one system. Moreover, the team has integrated Stripe Connect, allowing us to control franchise payment flows for the first time.Overall, we’ve seen a significant reduction in outages and bugs compared with our previous developers. We’ve also seen improved operational visibility, with live analytics on revenue, bookings, and member behavior.

GIMMIR has delivered a stronger technical foundation for future expansion, including online training, AI features, and white-label opportunities. These outcomes demonstrate clear progress toward owning our full tech stack and reducing dependence on third-party systems like Glofox.Although the app and CMS are still in the testing and pre-launch phase, we already have several measurable technical improvements compared to our previous system and developers. For example, the app load time has been reduced by ~40–50% in internal tests, resulting in significantly faster navigation and screen rendering. The API response times have also improved by ~30% due to a complete backend rebuild and endpoint optimization.Moreover, we’ve had zero critical outages during the development and testing period, compared to multiple outages with our previous developers. The stability has also increased, with the new system passing consistent reliability checks across both iOS and Android builds.
