The free website guys are exactly what it says on the tin, they help you design and create your own website for free. They were easy to work with, helpful, friendly and responsive to queries. Their business model is to build relationships with their clients that may lead to future paid work but the work they do for you is genuinely free. They send out easy instructions with videos as they help you along their simplified process of building your site. They send you updates of their progress and it's a fairly interactive process where they need to check in with you regularly over a short period of a few weeks, the speed is largely dependent on you. At the end you have a video handover call where you finally take over full control of your new website. I'm very happy to recommend them.

The free website guys walked me through every single step. They decribed webhosting, set up my back-end infastructure, helped me pick which theme was best for my needs. They installed a number of key plugins and configured the permalinks and the security settings. once we settled on a theme, they set it up, and made the changes I wanted. They were in constant contact with sending progress reports every step of the way. After they did that, they got my site set up with automated daily backups, Google Analytics and Google Search Console. They then removed themselves as admins, sent me handover videos of everything I need to know to keep it up and make small edits as needed.
