Can you describe the scope of their involvement in this project?

Fractal Web has developed a web platform and application for the automated management of a sport fishing league. The system organizes competitions using online technologies and delivers advanced performance statistics for athletes. The result is a fully automated, one-of-a-kind platform — www.troutareacz.cz.

Fractal Web has developed a comprehensive set of modules for the platform, covering all key aspects of league and tournament management. These include user registration and account management, automated tournament scheduling, real-time scoring and result confirmation between competitors, and dynamic ranking calculation.The system also provides advanced statistics for athletes, match history tracking, and a mobile-friendly interface for use directly during competitions. In addition, administrative tools were implemented for event control, data validation, and publishing of official results.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Fractal Web's work has delivered measurable improvements in efficiency and scalability. Tournament operations have become faster and more reliable, with real-time scoring and automated rankings reducing manual workload and errors.The platform supports events with 30–50 participants without increasing administrative complexity and has become a core infrastructure tool for the continued growth of the league. Organizational costs have been reduced by up to 90% due to automation and elimination of manual processes.Workload during tournaments has decreased by approximately 50%, as key operations such as scoring, validation, and ranking are handled automatically in real time. Error rates in scoring have dropped to near zero thanks to built-in validation and mutual confirmation of results between participants, which has significantly reduced the number of controversial situations.Participant satisfaction has increased noticeably after the platform was introduced. Real-time scoring has eliminated delays in result processing during tournaments, significantly improving the experience on the venue. At the same time, the reduced workload on organizers has allowed them to operate in a calmer and more controlled environment, focusing less on manual tasks and more on the event itself.

What we've found most impressive about Fractal Web is their systematic approach, ability to tackle complex and non-trivial challenges, and their focus on simplifying sophisticated processes. They've transformed complex operational workflows into clear, efficient, and user-friendly solutions, which have proven highly effective in real tournament environments.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Overall, the collaboration has been highly satisfactory. One potential area for further improvement could be increasing flexibility beyond standard plans and strengthening an even more personalized approach to project support. At the same time, Fractal Web already shows a strong ability to adapt to specific needs, and we see ongoing progress in this direction.

We’ve seen positive results, but we haven’t seen them as fast as we’d like. However, that depends more on the SEO team than on Fractal Web.

Fractal Web has delivered on time, but sometimes, there have been delays. We communicate via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Fractal Web tries to progress all the time. Although it doesn’t happen all the time, they work on it.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could give less advice. Our website needs traffic, not creative design or something unusual. Fractal Web has high standards, so they want to do everything on a high level, but sometimes, it’s not needed.
