We wanted an announcement of national awards through a virtual format due to covid lockdowns. We wanted something engaging that was different from the online presentation from a person - we wanted a video production of the announcement. Work from Fox & Co included working on a storybook on graphics, colours, objectsand then short videos of interviews.

The reach of our audience who viewed the final product across all of our channels was phenomenal. We had in excess of 300,000 views.

The animation has been written in-house and will showcase the value of story-telling and the role in which we will play in the next 30 years of stories. The purpose is to show Te Ao Māori stories in as multi-facted approach as possible.

Not only did the F&C team exceed our expectations from a creative standpoint the project was also delivered on time (with timely progress reports throughout the project) and within the scoped budget, a rarity when it comes to heavily animated outputs. We have seen an increased time on page that matches that of the video length, approx 30% increase, a result that we couldn’t be happier with as we know our audience is seeing and hearing our core offering rather than skimming through the website.
