We are opening a new company, and needed a website with booking capability, and basic pages.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We were contacted by this company shortly after opening. Their price offered for the services were in budget, and their sales team promised to meet our goals that were already clearly laid out.

The scope of work was simple, A main landing page, a gallery of work, and a booking page for clients to book appointments/services.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I had two points of contact, the sales team, and Rahul from the project management side.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The dev team did work quickly, and handled my project in a timely manner, but their development site was pretty slow to react. I do have to give their design team some accolades, as they created several logos for me that I did actually quite like. They will give you a Wordpress site, not a custom site like advertised. Once the site was transferred to my server and I was able to dig into the settings, plugins, etc.

First thing I found were a ton of hard-links back to their server that should not have been in a production build. I found that the contact us page was not working at all, no email sent, no message logged in admin console. I found that the php version they pushed to the server was 7.2, the last supported version out today is 7.4. The current version is 8.2. I found that the site had a malware ad injector that would be showing ads to my visitors, but conveniently blocked ads on admin IP addresses.

This was hidden in the actual site files, not listed as a plugin. (Monetization Code plugin by aerin Singh – 1.0) The theme that they provided me threw errors out saying it was incompatible with the plugins that were installed to get the functionality I requested from day one.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

The communication was almost completely through email, or calls at random times of the day. I would ask for them to set an appointment with me, and send a calendar invite out, and I would hear nothing until another random call. This hampered the progress of the site significantly.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The tenacity of their sales team. When I was 2 months into the project, their sales team called me back, trying to sell me on the same services, and would not believe that I was already working with them on a project.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Their devs are pushing old code out. They are pushing sites with old and insecure software.

We are in the hospitality & leisure business and own high-end lounges in the town. My role here is that of an ad campaign manager.

We wanted to get an app developed for our lounge so that customers can get a mobile app and opt for booking our services. We also wanted all our services and digital menu card to be highlighted. Most importantly we were looking for a unique app look and feel so that it reflects the luxury quotient that our lounge is known for. Once the development was completed we also wanted the necessary digital marketing tactics to work on it. They provided us ASO and ad campaign management services we were looking for.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted that our app to get listed on the App stores and gain higher downloads and positive reviews so that we can get higher leads. We also wanted our app to gain a better online presence and enhanced visibility.

What was the team composition?

The project was handled by a dedicated manager along with their development and marketing team. The dedicated manager used to give us all updates and take feedback from us. On our side, we had our own project team who handled it.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our app was developed and got listed in Google & ios App Store. Within 2 months we received 1k+ downloads and got 4.5 ratings. They are still working on it so that we can get a 5-star rating. Our online presence has also received 12k followers and received huge engagement both online and physically.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was a smooth flow of work. They shared with us an action plan with realistic goals set and updated us whenever there was any milestone achieved.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The most impressive part was that they used the best UI/UX app design that brought about a fantastic look and feel. The ASO strategy they adopted was also very tactful and well-planned. Another important thing is that they gave us a fruitful ad campaign strategy based on realistic goals.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Although they delivered our project really well handling all crucial areas, the delivery time could be made a little earlier.

Found in LinkedIn and spoke with them. Received a proposal and I accept.

I wanted my own website to be built and good traffic for it as well. They developed my website and carried out digital marketing to promote my services. It was a good experience as the team worked in a systematic manner.

What was the team composition?

There was a dedicated Account Manager for my work. Developers, digital marketing persons and other people also worked on it. I used to get all updates through the account manager who was also very helpful.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

My website visitors increased almost 20% and I received a 10% ROI. I also found about 5000 leads from social media platforms.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was good as they included my team in every stage of development. They kept us posted and discussed with us keeping in mind realistic goals. This is something I liked most about them.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

As I said, they did not promise me anything unrealistic. They always show me realistic and achievable goals. Eventually, they achieved it for my business as well.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Overall it was a good experience with them. However, due to the time difference, the on-call customer service could be improved.
