Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the deputy manager in the China National Machinery Import & Export Corporation. We’re an engineering contractor that has established power plants in Bangladesh and all over the world. We also have business in shipping and construction.

What challenge were you trying to address with Firefly Motion Pictures?

We have a lot of events, including ceremonies for the Bangladesh government. We’ve hired them several times for videography services and other purposes.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Mostly, their team makes short videos for our organization and events, handling everything from recording to video editing. They’ve created advertisements and videos of our projects. They also made a video when we established our Bangladesh headquarters, showcasing our office and activities. The most recent project focused on the Chinese national day in our Beijing office.

What is the team composition?

They have a team of 15–20 that’s responsible for videography and event management.

How did you come to work with Firefly Motion Pictures?

We received a recommendation from a government authority. Firefly Motion Pictures completed some television work for the Bangladesh government. While we considered other companies, we ended up choosing Firefly Motion Pictures after going through their portfolio. We saw that they were capable of doing the job.

How much have you invested with them?

The cost depends on the scope of work. We’ve had large events that cost between 60–70 lakh Bangladeshi taka (approximately $70,700–$82,400 USD).  

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve worked with them over the last two years.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Over the past two years, they’ve done 3–4 events for us. The team at Firefly Motion Pictures was committed to the work, delivering on time. They fulfilled all our expectations on what we wanted the videos to look like.

How did Firefly Motion Pictures perform from a project management standpoint?

We’re very much satisfied with them and their event management skills. Everyone involved takes care of their work. Firefly Motion Pictures delivers top-notch services.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was impressed with their commitment. Their time sense is also great. We’ve given them a lot of pressure due to a lot of requirements from the government side. Their team remained collaborative, taking our feedback and responding to changes. There were times when they worked across the night for us to finish their work on time. They’re very cooperative and hardworking.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Not really. There are always going to be issues during collaborations, but their team is generally good. I’ve worked with other companies, and Firefly Motion Pictures is much better in comparison.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Clients can definitely go for them. They’re extremely sincere in their work, and they know what their clients want. They give their delivery based on client feedback.
