Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the CEO of Fucerep, a financial services company. We’re a financial intermediation cooperative that provides economic and financial assistance services to employees of public and private companies, salaried employees, micro, and small companies in Uruguay.

What challenge were you trying to address with Finmesh?

We hired Finmesh to secure valuable, high-quality support that would allow us to professionalize our management.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Finmesh conducted a needs assessment, developed a work plan, and supported us throughout its implementation, contributing their expertise along the way. 
The main projects we worked on together included the implementation of the credit card product, where Finmesh delivered an implementation plan and supported its rollout; the implementation of the Power BI tool, which included the development of dashboards tailored to our reporting needs; and the migration of our IT system, where Finmesh supported us with testing and validation throughout the process.

We worked with 2–5 teammates from Finmesh.

How did you come to work with Finmesh?

We found them through a referral. Finmesh is a highly reputable company well known in our market, with values aligned with those of our institution and recognized for delivering high-quality service. We chose them because they offered good value for the cost.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from December 2015–December 2016.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The IT system migration was completed without incidents, on schedule, and with no data loss. The new system showed significant improvements compared to the previous one, including speed, reliability, user satisfaction, and regulatory compliance. For example, processing times improved significantly. The daily closing process used to take more than 12 hours, and now it takes about 6 hours.

How did Finmesh perform from a project management standpoint?

Finmesh delivered on time. We communicated in person.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We were most impressed with the added value of the service Finmesh provided.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could have incorporated additional profiles/resources that could have helped speed up the timelines.
