BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am a CEO at a start-up company. We partner with restaurants to deliver their products to end customers.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire FHG?

We needed someone to create a very complex website with payments and geolocations. We hired FHG to help us redesign our website to better engage with our customers and give them top of the class experiences

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We were referred by another client of FHG that had done similar work with them. We went through a thorough process to make sure that their resources are going to be available to deliver our project on time without sacrificing the quality.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

After a few calls, the FHG team presented us with a few designs and avenues where this project would go. Once we settled on the design they played out the detailed plan for partnership and timeline for the project. Every stage of the project was communicated well and expectations were met.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

In total, we work with 7 people. A designer, product manager, graphic designer, and 4 developers.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

They are very transparent. We were aware of every step of the process. Even during covid outburst they were transparent with us and walked us through every detail of how are they going to move forward. We meet once a week to go through the lateste progress and how what the next steps are.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project manager was the star of the show. Definitely made this experience extraordinary. Always available and happy to help.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was very impressed with their experience and expertise. We originally had a slightly different idea going into this project but after their UI/UX presentation we understood that we are not experts in this and their experience and knowledge is super valuable to provide our customers best in class experience

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Covid slowed things a little bit, but we also had an outbreak in our office so that created another challenge. Most importantly, communication was up to par.
