We worked with Ram and his team at Fantastech to redesign our website, re-platform from a bespoke CMS to WordPress, and provide guidance on the optimal technical routes to achieve our goals. The design work was completed in Figma and then passed to Fantastech for HTML cut-up. Fantastech also configured the new CMS on our hosting environment and completed a range of other associated development work.

Fantastech manages to keep tight control over project progress without locking you into a strict waterfall approach. Working with a confident team with experience solving many similar challenges was great for both our mental health, and our bank balance. For example, there was an area of the site that we were unable to design before the build started, as we hadn't found the right technical solution.

We knew what we wanted and could broadly describe it, but couldn't see a way to build it elegantly with a great UX across different viewports. Ram's team were able to proceed with the build of the designed sections whilst still exploring technical solutions for this tricky area.

The solution they found works beautifully across devices and didn't require any additional design work to bring it to life. That saved us a significant amount of time, money and stress on the kind of challenge that I've personally seen kill progress and massively increase costs.

They showed integrity while delivering outstanding customer service alongside impressive technical work, and are really easy to get on with. Now if I can get Fantastech on a project, I know I'm 90% there.

The only pain I felt was not being able to celebrate a hugely successful project in person! Their communication makes the distance feel very small, but a UK > India flight was a bit too far for a celebratory pint at the end of the project.

The content of my design studio had long outgrown what my Website actually showed. So we hired Fantastech Solutions to convert our website from Sketch to Wordpress. The goal was to implement smart filtering systems to facilitate ease of use for potential clients as well as various page functions to properly encompass the wide range of specialities I work in.

After rigorous research and various interviews with developers from the US to Croatia, I landed on Fantastech because they clearly outlined the phases of the project in comprehendible chunks. Their past projects and blog pages which is full of information regarding UI/UX tools also showed an understanding of what I wanted to achieve.

And upon the first meeting with Fantastech Solutions, I felt that they were understandable, reasonable and very organised.

We kicked off the project with a meeting were we went over my Sketch files, that I explained in detail. Immediately I felt understood because Fantastech Solution also bounced back with ideas and suggestions. This was great because I'm not a developer so my scope was quite limited.

Next we established milestones, and I delivered the files, which they promptly began working on.

My main line of communication was with the company's founder and manager who guided the developer through my website concept. Only in the end when I had to respond to feedback did I communicate directly with another person. This was good because it kept lines of communication clear and simple, rather than overwhelming if it were with more people.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After the total overhaul of my website, clients have a better idea of what I am able to offer them and the site functionality such as the accordion, filter boxes and journal pages help people navigate the site easier than ever before.

We predominately communicated via a single email thread, occasional Google calls and in the end with Google docs where I could easily give my feedback on the process of the website.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I had never worked with Wordpress before, and the Fantastech team did a really good job at simplifying the backend in such a way that only a couple of weeks in, I feel very comfortable with the interface.

Additional they have always been approachable and reachable if I had any questions. What I find the most refreshing about this company is the sense of honesty. Whenever there was a delay either in meetings or otherwise, I was always assured of the importance of my website, even towards the end.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

As far as I can see, there are no real areas for improvement. I'm really happy with how my website came out and the entire process was a pleasure.

Our company hired Fantastech Solutions with the need to implement some advanced features/functionality as requested by our clients. We needed someone who was compentent in WordPress as well as PHP, Javascript and CSS to make something that worked well and stood the test of time. Our goals were simple: to create an awesome, custom product.

We searched online for a company to work with, and Fantastech had the best reviews and provided the most comprehensive initial consulting call to truly understand our needs.

The project was split up in phases. Each phase was one or two core tasks that ranged from extending some existing features to creating some new ones. One example of a task that Fantastech did for us is create a custom booking platform so that users on a website can book dates/times with others.

Ram with Fantastech Solutions was our core point of contact. I believe he is one of the core leaders at the company. Ram was very attentive and responsive.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project was completed well within our timeline and it was done in a very good quality level. For instance, rather than hard-coding variables that Ram thought we might want to change down the road, he created "Admin settings screens" that allow us to make those changes. This above/beyond stuff is what we appreciated most.

We used Skype for communication most of the time. It worked very well. I'm not sure what other internal project management tools he uses, but it seems very organized.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They gave us a great product at a budget that we could afford. They are very flexible and always tried to go above and beyond where possible.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The only thing I wish is that they had a US division, so that they could work more in our business hours. By the time we get online, they are often wrapping up their day. With that said, it is very nice to wake up in the morning and see the finished work from the night/workday before.
