For what projects/services did your company hire Explainly?

A client needed explainer videos, and we don't make them. We hired Alex and the team to help.

What were your goals for this project?

To produce two explainer videos that reduced a rather complex story about data, AI, and psychology into two animated shorts.

How did you select this vendor?

We looked at six other agencies. Alex and team were the first to respond and had the most cogent proposal.

To produce two explainer videos including scripting, storyboarding, animation. One was destined for the company's homepage, one for their Shopify app listing. It was two variants on one story with a few key differences based on the audience.

What was the team composition?

Alex and his project managers ran the project out of Trello. There might have been 2-3 people involved?

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The client is pleased as punch. They're sharing the videos everywhere and are emphatic that this is exactly what they were looking for, even though it's not at all what they initially described.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very. They managed the project in Trello and used Frame.io to allow us to leave comments within the video. Having the whole thing broken out by stage right from the beginning was really helpful.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

How much they get done despite the size. I thought they were a lot bigger than they are.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Not really. Great job.
