I’m the manager of Bajaj Auto Ltd., an automotive manufacturer.

What challenge were you trying to address with Excellon Software?

We needed someone to develop our dealership management system.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Excellon Software consulted and developed our ERP system for all the inventory and supply chain-related things. It also acts as a POS system where all the customer transactions can be captured related to billing, insurance, financial documents, registrations. 

They also consulted us on and developed a CMS for mobile apps that enables us to contact the customer and manage the complaints via the tool. They’ve also helped with a B2C platform where we can connect two customers via mobile apps and on the e-commerce platform.

What is the team composition?

I work mostly with the director of engineering, director of support, and the director of projects. When we go into the active phase of designing, they have a UI/UX team that comes into the picture.

How did you come to work with Excellon Software?

We considered different partners. Excellon Software meets our criteria and stands out against their competitors.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in January 2019 and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We launched the B2C platform into the market this year and their team delivered it on time. The backend integrated beautifully with the dealership management systems which serve as POS systems. There aren’t many success factors that we’ve been monitoring but that was a successful project.

How did Excellon Software perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management is close to perfect on a scale. We communicate via email and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The successful project launching the B2C platform was most impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could improve on the framing and reframing of the MVPs.
