We've partnered with Exceed IT to overhaul and advance the application's functionality. This process unfolded in two distinct stages. Initially, they modernized the program by reworking it with contemporary technologies and platforms, departing from the outdated .NET version we were using. This update involved not only the foundational technology but also a visual refresh to bestow a modernized look and user experience upon the application. 

Following this, the subsequent phase aimed at enriching functionality to optimize the utilization of the gathered data. This encompassed tasks such as data visualization through charts, cross-referencing data, and implementing additional functions. These efforts were geared towards enabling us to more effectively utilize our resources in order to enhance investment decision-making. 

Our engagement with Exceed IT has been characterized by regular meetings where we define our vision for the software's appearance. We guide them through the existing system, highlighting its shortcomings and limitations. Their collaboration entailed comprehending the intricacies of the program and its operations. Subsequently, they invested extra time in understanding our overarching objectives for the final outcome. 

Deliberations included strategies for dividing the work into distinct sprints, which facilitated the distribution of development costs over time. Our approach involved completing a sprint, evaluating its outcomes, and conducting testing to enable users to interact with the system. Thereafter, we proceeded with subsequent iterations. Over the span of a year, we've been able to advance the development at a pace that suits our requirements.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have gradually introduced new features to users in different phases, and the feedback we've received has been overwhelmingly positive in terms of practical benefits. Our data entry process has significantly improved, leading to increased efficiency and speed in this aspect. Even though data entry might not be the most exciting task, it's a necessary component, and the fact that we've streamlined it has garnered a strong following among our users. 

Furthermore, the impact of this project extends deeply, as we employ this database to illustrate our approach to evaluating companies to both potential clients and existing ones. Essentially, it serves as a valuable window into our investment methodology. When we present it during meetings, its appearance exudes professionalism and impressiveness, surpassing the impression it gave when the software was over 2 years old. 

Consequently, it has not only enhanced practical functionalities but also added substantial marketing value to our endeavors.

Their communication has been truly commendable. We engage in scheduled meetings, and they consistently adhere to these appointments unless we specifically request rescheduling. They exhibit a high level of availability and have demonstrated exceptional responsiveness in their communication, extending beyond our regular weekly calls. 

Overall, they have diligently adhered to the established guidelines. Any notable deviations that have occurred can be attributed to our own adjustments to the project parameters.

Exceed IT assumed responsibility for the complete development of our platform. They guided us in outlining the project, including selecting the appropriate programming language. Their involvement extended to web design and functionality. Together, we determined the necessary pages, established the onboarding process for freelancers, and addressed site security concerns.

A Twilio function was implemented, mandating users to provide their phone number and email for an activation code, bolstering the site's security. Additionally, a dual-tiered purchase system was implemented, distinct for small business and enterprise clients. Presently, we're refining the platform with Exceed IT's support, incorporating features based on potential client feedback. Anticipated completion of the project is within the next three months.

All individuals who've explored the Exceed IT-built site have lauded its excellence. We're collaborating with esteemed companies renowned for their discerning eye on aesthetics and functionality. The platform's quality mirrors that of prominent sites, signifying its meticulous development. I'm confident to engage top-tier clients, assured that our project is on par with leading global hiring platforms.

While development extended due to various factors, their adeptness at managing the project shines. Exceed IT isn't merely a service provider; they function as collaborative partners, adeptly handling both development and client aspects. The project manager adeptly addresses concerns, facilitating seamless communication between the development team and myself. Queries regarding timing, design, and functionality are promptly conveyed to the team, with responses promptly delivered.
