Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the CFO of a sod farm called Quality Turf. We grow grass and do retail and wholesale.

What challenge were you trying to address with Everzocial?

We hired Everzocial to help us update our website, develop our e-commerce platform, and to do local marketing.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Everzocial’s team looked at our previous website to see the format and came up with a new idea and layout. By using WordPress, they incorporated these ideas and the ones we had for e-commerce into the new website. They also worked on SEO to help us perform better in organic search.

Everzocial is very active on a regional level. Since we’re a regional company with a radius of 50–60 miles, they did a locally-targeted marketing plan on Google and Bing. They helped us with Facebook, Instagram, and Yelp as well. Moreover, they found out what our competitors were doing and put together a plan to be more competitive since we’re not as big as the other companies.

Our relationship is still ongoing. They continue handling all of these aspects for us.

What is the team composition?

We’ve mainly worked with Kevin (CEO & Chief Strategist). He’s been the spearhead of the whole project. However, I had a couple of interviews with other developers and members of their staff to answer questions and give precise guidelines for what we were trying to accomplish.  

How did you come to work with Everzocial?

I had worked with a couple of different people before Everzocial. One of those companies was located very far away. On top of that, they just tossed in some algorithm to the website and that was it – they never did any optimization. Then, we found another company who was more local but still far away for us and we weren’t a big enough client for them, so we didn’t get what we wanted.

We’re a county or two away from Los Angeles. We wanted someone local, within 15 minutes from us, to be able to meet them in person and see what our business does. We did a Google search and interviewed three companies. Everzocial was the most knowledgeable, professional, and enthusiastic about the job, and that’s why we decided to work with them.     

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent probably $100,000–$125,000, not including the actual advertising feeds. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve had a relationship that started in March 2018 and is still ongoing. We wouldn’t go to anybody else.   

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve always had a healthy increase of 10%–15% year over year. Even though we spent most of 2018 developing and testing the website, we still got an increase of 20%. In 2019, we had an increase of 35% compared to the previous year and a 40% in 2020. Lastly, it seems like we’re on track for another 40% in 2021.  

We’ve felt that our money has been well spent since the website is targeted according to our needs. Moreover, we’re now able to put emphasis on certain products quickly, which has been really beneficial for us.   

How did Everzocial perform from a project management standpoint?

We didn’t have a lot of exposure to what Everzocial did in terms of project management, but Kevin and I were in contact quite a bit. He had a great action plan that he outlined for us, and he stayed to that outline. When things didn’t work correctly and we deviated, he was very good at putting our plan on paper and taking care of issues.   

What did you find most impressive about them?

There’s always something that will pop up, but Kevin’s always a text message or a phone call away whenever we have an issue. He keeps an eye on the marketplace, which helps us tremendously because we’re always adapting to the local market.

Another aspect at the top of the list is that Kevin wanted to learn our business so he could market it properly. Nobody else had asked us questions, and that’s what he did differently. Then, he started researching our competition, and that’s where he sold me and the reason that kept us collaborating. We think that’s genius because everybody can use algorithms, but if we don’t know what we’re trying to accomplish and what the process is, we’re just wasting our money. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I think they’re doing a wonderful job. I know Kevin, and whenever he has an issue, he gets on top of it quickly and tasks his people to fix it.  

Any advice for potential customers?

I advise prospective customers to just get to trust Everzocial. They know what they’re talking about and take time to know your business.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am a Podiatrist with a practice in Orange County, California and the co-star of the hit TLC TV series "My Feet Are Killing Me".

For what projects/services did your company hire Everzocial | Digital Marketing Agency, and what were your goals?

I first met Kevin as my private practice began to grow and I was beginning to embark upon a huge new television adventure. I was struggling to keep up with the current demands of my daily practice and I was in no way prepared for what was to come.

Everzocial turned out to not only help with creating and organizing my practice website, elevating my practice visibility with SEO services and making it easier for patients appointments, but I was also able to make a smooth introduction into the TV realm with a personal brand website that Everzocial created for me.

How did you select Everzocial | Digital Marketing Agency and what were the deciding factors?

We met with several web design firms but Kevin and Everzocial stood out with their knowledge of Podiatry and personal brand development.

They invested a lot of time researching my expertise as a surgeon and identifying the best way to get my website to be visible on Google. They also helped me with my messaging and social media.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

I have never been through the process of creating a website. Everzocial met with me and my team to identify my goals for my practice site and also for my personal TV brand page. They helped educate me every step of the way on the process and content strategies.

Their team is very professional, communicating throughout the project and presenting me with mockups, designs, content, and working with my EMR software to integrate their scheduling software into my website which saves my staff several steps in filling my schedule.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

There were several people involved in my project. Kevin help my hand through the process, his project manager communicated the progress and interfaced with my staff.

We had a content specialist who helped research and create the content for the website. We worked with an SEO specialist and the website developers worked on the website.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After launching my practice website I saw a 100% increase of traffic, which resulted in a 30% increase in inquiries for bunion surgeries and other related surgeries, which was my desire to get more of these type of inquiries. I have been able to add several specialized procedures.

Know that Everzocial will do their magic to get me the inquiries I desire. Everzocial has exceeded my expectations every time.

Kevin and his team offer a very personalized service. I am focused on being a doctor and Everzocial understood my desire for a partner that could think for me when it came to the marketing. They are always bringing new marketing ideas to me to help my practice grow.

They are very proactive in their communication style and know how to not overwhelm me with the details. Their reporting is excellent and simple enough that I understand the insights and analytics.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I am so impressed with their knowledge of the field of Podiatry and the procedures, conditions and making it understandable by my patients. I get many compliments on my website from my patients and my peers. They are not just a marketing company, they are part of my team, helping me achieve the goals I have set for myself.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

If there have been any issues, they have been quick to respond, adjust and make the changes to achieve the goals.
