Eternalight Infotech migrated the entire Epixego frontend codebase from a legacy React 16 setup to the modern Vite + React 18/19 + @mui/material stack. The engagement included upgrading multiple core libraries such as React Router, Redux, Babel, Sass, and Ant Design to their latest stable versions, ensuring compatibility, performance, and maintainability. As part of the modernization, the team optimized the build to achieve a main bundle under 3MB and supporting JS files under 1MB. Optional deliverables included S3 + CloudFront optimized deployment, New Relic integration for performance monitoring, and Google Analytics integration for user activity tracking. Additionally, Eternalight developed and implemented 150 automated UI test cases using Cypress, strengthening the client’s QA process and improving regression testing efficiency.

Weekly progress updates, testing and demos, followed by detailed hand-offs were critical to meetign the project objectives.

Eternalight managed the project exceptionally well with tight oversight and clear communication. CEO Ketan's hands-on approach to project management made a tremendous difference in execution quality. Even when occasional delays occurred, they proactively communicated timeline adjustments and set realistic expectations to keep us fully informed throughout the process. This transparency and responsiveness to our needs demonstrated their commitment to client success.

Technical Delivery:
The technical execution was outstanding. The team successfully optimized our build to achieve a main bundle under 3MB with supporting JS files under 1MB, significantly improving our application performance. They also delivered valuable optional features including S3 + CloudFront optimized deployment, New Relic integration for performance monitoring, and Google Analytics integration for user activity tracking.

Quality Assurance:
One of the most impressive aspects was their development and implementation of 150 automated UI test cases using Cypress. This strengthened our QA process tremendously and improved our regression testing efficiency, providing long-term value beyond the immediate migration.

I had the pleasure of working with Eternalight Infotech on a comprehensive frontend modernization project for Epixego, and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Eternalight Infotech could have done differently?

While the overall experience with Eternalight Infotech was excellent, one area for potential improvement would be providing more structured progress documentation during key development phases. Regularly updated technical summaries or sprint reports could help non-technical stakeholders stay aligned on progress and decisions. That said, the team’s responsiveness and willingness to clarify details whenever requested more than made up for this, and their openness to feedback throughout the project was greatly appreciated.
