A biomass heating system company hired Equaleyes Solutions Ltd. for mobile app development services. The client wanted a remote control and management of a smart mobile generator using Android and iOS devices.

The app received positive feedback both from the users and the stakeholders, thanks to Equaleyes Solutions Ltd. The team had effective communication that helped in delivering the project on time. The client was impressed by the team's flexibility and dedication in delivering excellent results.

The client submitted this review online.

BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the Head of Sales and Marketing at the company producing and developing wood biomass heating systems.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Equaleyes Solutions Ltd., and what were your goals?

We wanted to develop a mobile app for Android and IOS users for remote control and management of a smart mobile generator.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We searched for app developers in our area and decided for Equaleyes Solutions Ltd. based on their 20 years experience in this field and numerous positive reviews of their clients.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We started with a series of meetings to discuss our goals. We provided their team with all the necessary data to start with the App development. The second step of the project included Development of a back-end application system and Development of a system for obtaining up-to-date weather data. The last step included Developing a connection with virtual voice assistants - integration with multiple virtual assistants.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

A project manager was assigned to be our main contact throughout the project. We also interacted with a few app developers when necessary.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

General feedback of all the outcomes and current users is very positive and our BioEnergyUnit (including the app managing the unit) operates smoothly.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

The project manager and all the app developers were very up to date in our communication. We also had in person meetings and video calls that were very productive. Other communication took place via emails. Everything was delivered on time.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

This was our first mobile app and we have never before worked with software development company. What we find the most impressive is their excellent communication. A young and dedicated team of employees. They are flexible to the wishes and needs of the client.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Throughout this project we agreed on all of the issues or possible changes along the way so we would not change anything.

Equaleyes Solutions is contracted to provide support and ongoing development for upgrades to a pre-existing e-commerce platform.

With a team of 2 – 3 developers, Equaleyes was able to learn the platform’s code and has made over 12 upgrades to it so far without any downtime. Their team produces clean code and provides valuable input on how to do things.

The client submitted this review online.

BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I’m the CEO and founder of Takestock, a digital market for the food industry that is much like a private eBay.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Equaleyes Solutions?

Our system is a complex marketplace. We built it in-house with contractors but needed flexible support and an ongoing development partner beyond that.

What were your goals for this project?

Our main goal is to enable a constant development pipeline for our customers.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I had worked with them previously.

Describe the project in detail.

We already had the system up and running so this was more of a handover of the existing platform. They had to reverse learn our code in order to support the business. Since then, we’ve released more than a dozen upgrades to the platform without any outages.

What was the team composition?

They provided a flexible team structure with 2 – 3 developers.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

How effective was the project management?

Equaleyes is highly focused on clean code and they tend to stay quiet until they have a solid solution or proposal to share. That said, they are very good at coming up with value-added input and at suggesting ways of doing things rather than the traditional model where the code is delivered requiring many iterations to refine it.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

What’s most impressive about them is the breadth and depth of their coding skills.

What tips or recommendations do you have?

The one area that they could improve on is communication—they tend to go quiet until they have a solution regardless of expectations of an update. I would, however, highly recommend them to anyone looking for a flexible development partner.
