Epicora is a Brazilian software house based in Chapecó, Santa Catarina. Since 2023 we have delivered more than 60 projects for companies that outgrew spreadsheets, off-the-shelf systems and legacy software nobody wanted to maintain.

We build the software that runs an operation: custom business systems, digital products and SaaS, mobile apps for iOS and Android, integrations with the ERPs our clients already use, and AI applied inside a method rather than bolted on top.

Epicora was founded in Chapecó, Santa Catarina, in 2023, by people tired of watching good businesses run on spreadsheets and on systems nobody maintained. We build software the way we would want it built for us: the scope written down before the price, a prototype approved before the code, and someone still answering after go-live. More than 60 projects later, that is still the whole method.

It starts with discovery, not a price. We interview the people who will actually use the software, write the scope down, and only then estimate. You approve a clickable prototype before we write a line of production code. Kickoff then fixes the delivery calendar, the list of accesses we need, and one named owner on each side.

Yes. Our clients are Brazilian, so the law that governs us is the LGPD, and we design for it rather than patch for it: role-based access, data minimisation, deletion the user can trigger themselves, and an audit trail of who changed what. We have built systems holding occupational mental-health data and continuous clinical data, where anonymity and consent are part of the product, not a policy page. When a project needs it, we also write the terms of use, privacy policy and consent documents that go with the software.

Yes. We are based in Chapecó, Santa Catarina, and we deliver for companies across Brazil, working remotely with on-site visits when the project needs them. Our published work includes an 11-store dealership network, a protein exporter, a five-unit gym chain, a livestock genetics company, an occupational health consultancy and a clinical follow-up product. We also work as a white-label engineering team for agencies and software houses, in Brazil and abroad.

Yes, and we do it often. We start with a technical diagnostic of the code, the database and the infrastructure, deliver a written report of what we found, and only then agree what gets fixed first. We have inherited legacy systems that were running a live operation, and products built with AI by their own founders that needed an engineering foundation before they could keep growing. When the work is done, the product runs in the client's own accounts, not ours.

Four things, mostly. Business systems that replace a spreadsheet or a legacy system running a real operation. Digital products and SaaS taken from zero to the App Store and Google Play. Integrations with the ERP a company already uses, so the same number stops being typed twice. And AI applied inside a method: in one platform, five sections of a regulatory technical report are written by a language model, while every number in the risk matrix is calculated in code, without AI. We also build institutional sites, and we audit software built by someone else.
