Although Elevate UK provided new ideas and insights that improved the design beyond our initial concept, we still had a goal for the website.

Within a short period of time we expanded our requirements into a full website rebuild and a one year SEO project to improve our visibility on a large group of ‘foil container’ customer search terms. Our initial targets were: At least 12 new customers a month, and a sales value of at least 5 times what we were spending on the advertising. Page one ranking for at least 20 disposable catering foil search terms

We have been with Elevate UK now for almost 9 years and they have exceeded our targets in all areas and continue to do so year on year.. They streamlined our online process and rebuilt the website which has been converting at a higher rate thanks to their efforts. Now in the process of commissioning an upgrade. We get a consistent level of new customers each month above the target of 12 and a sales value that fluctuates between 6 and 8 times our marketing spend . In terms of visibility on searches, Elevate UK have delivered page one position for 106 of our target terms. Of these, 45 are in the top 3 positions.

Whilst we didn’t pursue the Google Ads marketing channel, we were impressed by the level of expertise and knowledge, and how that translated into proving the concept of Google Ads had we decided to go down that road ultimately.

At the time, although impressed with the work done, we were disappointed that we did not achieve higher organic positions on the keywords that were being targeted as part of our SEO package. We had hoped for page one results but only managed page two for most keywords. 

When we reviewed this, and understood the association between our budget and the work required to be competitive, it was clear why page 1 results had not been achieved in the 12 months after completion of the new website. Managing our expectations in relation to our budget could have been improved.
