Please describe your company and your position there.

We design and manufacture several lines of apparel that we sell to retailers. We use our websites for B2B and B2C commerce.

For what projects/services did your company hire eGlobe IT Solutions?

We were moving our website from Magento 1 platform to Magento 2 platform.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goals were to upgrade to the current Magento Platform and provide some improvements to our sight along with updating the look and feel of the website.

How did you select this vendor?

We have been working with eGlobe IT for several years. They have been providing ecommerce support for us. It was a natural progression to have them work on this upgrade as they have been a good partner.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

They developed and configured our websites on the Magento 2 platform based on the design theme we provided. They implemented custom requirements. They provided time and action plans for the project.

We worked through a project management tool and conference calls. They provided a testing environment for us to use throughout the project and after completion of the project. They worked closely with our marketing team and project manager.

What was the team composition?

Our portion of the team consistent of a project manager and our marketing team of about 5 people. We worked directly with a project manager at eGlobe IT. I don't know the exact number of individuals working on our project from their side.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Our website is now running on an updated platform and integrated to our ERP system. It is easy for our team to use.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The project was managed through Basecamp and Skype calls. We were able to effectively manage 95% of the project through Basecamp which was extremely effective for our team.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They are very knowledgeable and able to provide solutions. It is extremely helpful when you have a non-technical group communicating with a technical group.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Communication is extremely important especially when you are dealing with multiple languages. They did an excellent job, but this is an area that all parties need constant improvement to clearly state the intended outcome.
