Introduce your business and what you do there.

I work for BentallGreenOak, a commercial real estate firm focused on asset and property management. My role within the company is national marketing manager for office and industrial sites, and I also report to the corporate communications department.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Undo Edit Design?

I’ve been working with Undo Edit Design since 2013. Initially, I needed help with creative direction and design.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Throughout our various projects, Undo Edit Design has provided me with design services. These projects have included photography, telecommunications, graphic design, website hosting, social media content creation, packaging design, printed and digital materials design, and more.

I started my current role at the beginning of the pandemic, so Undo Edit Design helped me create all of our pandemic collateral nationwide. They designed almost 20–30 different pieces, including signage and decals, and they printed, packed, and shipped them across the country.

What is the team composition?

I’ve mainly worked with Panos (Creative Director & Principal), but he has also brought a person that provides digital support for some projects. I’ve also interacted with other team members, and everyone has been phenomenal.

How did you come to work with Undo Edit Design?

I’ve been working with Panos since 2013, being a client of his through five roles at five different companies. I always bring him with me for my creative projects, so he has been a key factor for my success as a marketer.

Initially, at my former company, we were looking for a new creative agency that could support our projects. My manager at the time knew Panos, who came in and pitched to be our main creative director. We really liked him, so we went with him.

How much have you invested with them?

Just last year, for services to my current company, we’ve spent around $25,000 CAD (approximately $20,000 USD). On top of that, we’ve spent another $20,000–$25,000 CAD (approximately $16,000–$20,000 USD) on pitch decks and ad hoc projects. That’s usually the annual budget I’ve spent throughout our different engagements.

What is the status of this engagement?

I started working with them around the spring of 2013, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I’ve been an Undo Edit Design client for a long time, and I trust Panos fully — they’re the reason for my success, and we work well together. Additionally, the feedback I’ve received from senior executives on their creative work has been great. If our projects weren’t successful, I wouldn’t be working with Undo Edit Design.

How did Undo Edit Design perform from a project management standpoint?

Undo Edit Design’s project management is excellent. They’ve been great at meeting deadlines, and our communication is very open. Additionally, I always feel like I get great value for the money. Compared to what other companies quote, Panos’ quotes always come under, and the caliber of his designs is exceptional.

We communicate via email and phone calls, and we share some documents and spreadsheets using Google Drive. They’re always very responsive.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Undo Edit Design’s creative direction is impressive; everything they touch is gold. Panos is very talented at giving simple things a clean and fresh look; that’s where I get the value. Additionally, he excels in his creative direction and how he manages his team to get the job done.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t have any constructive feedback for Undo Edit Design; they’re an exceptional agency. I can only think that, as they grow, they might need more hands.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be open about your need and outline your expectations. Undo Edit Design has very talented and responsive people working on the projects, so you should consider working with them.
