Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the CEO of RoboDuels - a real life gaming company. We make video games in real life using robots that people could control from their home to play against other players controlling robots in our custom made arenas.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Ebenezer Technologies, and what were your goals?

Development of our initial robot control and video streaming software. Our goals were to have each robot camera video stream in real time, as well as an arena camera video stream in real time, as well as a software platform where users could enter into gaming queues and be connected and disconnected from robots in a fluid manner - with scores and rankings being tracked. Ebenezer Technologies was able to assist in all layers and develop our platform to support over 3,000 games in 2017 alone.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

The integrity of their CEO, Edgar. He is an honest businessman and knowledgeable engineer with a very highly respectable staff. This was the underlying factor. It is difficult to find a company overseas that's reliable, but after over 50 interviews I chose Edgar because of his qualities. Till this day we keep in touch and have even met in person. He delivers in more ways than one.

The deliverables consisted of:

• Robot Code
• websocket control + real time video streaming Arena Code
• websocket control + real time video streaming Backend -
• queue, media server WebRTC sessions w/ clients, database, cache, endpoints Frontend - visuals, gaming view Media Server
• WebRTC + websocket relay between robot and client

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

There were two other people in the core team - Dario and a group of other very competent Full Stack Engineers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We were able to launch our product + company.

They are very meticulous and communicative. First they explain how they will do the project from a detailed technical view, then they gave an approximate time for completion and followed it until delivery.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They're not pretentious or manipulative - they give it to you straight. Edgar is a very good leader. Honest quality work.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I wish we could work together in person, but due to the thousands of miles separating us that's not possible unfortunately.
