Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the Director of Cafuné - a hair jewelry and hair accessory brand, with a focus in bespoke and custom made pieces. The brand was stablished in 2014 with exclusively online sale channels through social media platforms.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Droomtech, and what were your goals?

With an increasing demand for our products and feedback from our clients who wanted faster turnover and customer service, we decided that a website was a necessary tool that would ease several of our processes.

Droomtech was the company that we decided to work with to design and develop our e-commerce as their portfolio was very appealing and the brands they worked with had the global background that we were looking for.

How did you select Droomtech and what were the deciding factors?

We were first approach by Droomtech through their sales representative, who very professionally offered a meeting to showcase a proposal for our brand. They prepared a presentation describing all the benefits that an e commerce would bring to our brand, as well as a briefing of their MO.

For us, their background with other brands in the same industry, their professionalism, their approach to new consumer tendencies and their ability to accommodate our needs were the deciding factors.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

Everything was very organized from the start. We had an initial meeting in which we discussed everything that we wanted to incorporate in our website. All of the meetings were followed by a meeting summary so that nothing would be missed.

Previews benchmarking was encouraged so that meetings were as detailed as possible. After the initial meeting in which the timeframes are also stablished, a whatsapp group is made with the team involved so that there is a faster communication in case any doubts or questions arise.

For us one of the main tools that we wanted our website to have was currency conversion, and for it to be a global site. Droomtech provided alternatives and suggested the best platforms to achieve this (WooCommerce).

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked with three people from their team. Including a sales associate, a project manager and also someone from the design and development department.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Immediately the day of launch, we noticed the difference. Not only did we had a return of investment within the firs couple of weeks, but our production capacity increased due to the faster sale turnover.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.

The project management style is very easy going yet professional. Communication was easy for the most part, although being diligent and asking questions about the development of the project is encouraged.

The team is young and up to date with everything related to online commerce, so that made it enjoyable and not intimidating at all. They explain everything to detail and are very helpful if you are not familiar with the technology.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What I found most impressive about this company is their achievements and the reputable brands they've manage to work with in such a short time.

They are a young, professional, and passionate team who will not only deliver what is expected, but also get involved with the brand and help in any way they can so that you are satisfied with the end result.

Are there any areas for improvement?

None at the time. Our overall experience was very pleasing.

I’m the co-founder of Banana Banana Bread, an online bakery.

What challenge were you trying to address with Droomtech?

We hired Droomtech to develop our e-commerce platform.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Their team designed and developed our e-commerce website from scratch. We have specific branding, so we let them know what font and colors we wanted. We also gave them pictures. After telling us what we wanted, they gave us feedback on where information should go to make it more transparent for our clients.

What is the team composition?

There were two people involved, but I only had contact with one person.

How did you come to work with Droomtech?

A mutual friend put us in contact.

How much have you invested with them?

The website cost $1,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with Droomtech from April­–May 2018.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re happy with our website. There have been no issues, but when we need help, they’re available to help us quickly. The quality of work was excellent. If I want to create my own code, there are no problems, and it works perfectly. If I need new images, they help with uploading. Everything is seamless and straightforward. Their team tries to make it easier for clients.

How did Droomtech perform from a project management standpoint?

From a project management perspective, they’re excellent. I recommend using Droomtech.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was impressed with their responsiveness. They answer quickly, and everything is clear. It’s easy and simple to communicate with them. They ask for the information that we need to send them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, everything is okay.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have everything ready to send, so they can get started. Be clear about what you want so that they can understand your idea and submit a proposal.
