We primarily communicated over Slack.  In addition, all task management was done via Jira.  The team's communication skills surpassed my expectations.  We held numerous meetings, calls, demos, and retrospectives.

Our application is a social network designed to enable groups of people make new acquaintances.  In this software, the user will establish an account and then begin a session to match with a group.  To create a session, the user must provide his group details and match the group criteria.  After modifying the criteria, a user will be able to see other groups and send invitations, which another user may accept or refuse.  He can also receive invitations from other groups.  Deliverables:

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Overall, we were very satisfied with how the project was handled, and we are confident in continuing our connection with Double Dot as we develop our platform in the United States.  Some projects that required third-party participation should have been provided to us early on, with estimated durations based on existing understanding, such as obtaining a DUNS number.  Fortunately, no severe delays occurred, but it would have been preferable to have known beforehand.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

We used Active Collab continuously throughout the project.  The protocols were simple to follow, and communication was easy, especially after the project manager was assigned.  The project management style was very hands-on and constantly effective.  At no point did we feel disconnected from the development process.  Perhaps an informal Zoom chat with the development team would have provided additional insight into who was working on the project and allowed them to meet with the client as well, which would have been a lovely scenario.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was generally impressed with Double Dot.  They have clearly hired some outstanding individuals, from the development team to the project management team.  The staff appear to be a dedicated lot, and I have always had faith in their ability to meet all of our demands.  The few problems that couldn't be rectified did not cause a severe issue and can be addressed in future iterations.

Since the debut of the mobile app, we have greatly increased operational efficiency and the overall client experience.  Customers may now manage their accounts, start transactions, and obtain support services from their preferred location.  This has not only increased user engagement, but it has also resulted in a significant increase in customer satisfaction, as demonstrated by positive feedback and increased app downloads.  Furthermore, our ability to provide timely updates and services has allowed us to strengthen relationships with our customers, reinforcing their loyalty to Harborone Bank.
