I build AI systems and custom software that solve specific operational problems. My work ranges from virtual assistants that handle customer communications around the clock, to compliance automation tools that verify insurance claims against complex regulatory protocols, catching errors and cutting review time that would otherwise require dedicated staff.

At HP, I built and maintained a production virtual assistant serving regions across Europe, LATAM, North America and Asia. Independently, I worked with an insurance company where I identified bottlenecks in their claims review process, designed a solution around them, and built it. The system uses a small language model to automatically verify documentation against a dense, multi-category compliance protocol, with the necessary optimizations to ensure accuracy on a tight and efficient compute budget.

I studied Computer Engineering at UPC Barcelona and I'm comfortable working end-to-end: scoping the problem, choosing the right technical approach (sometimes that means no AI at all), building it, and keeping it running.
